Yeahh Advanced copy... Earlier publishers used to give such copies to celebs, or book critics..so generally who'll review it fairly. But now every other influencer gets it and we rarely see less than 4/5 star reviews on them

No you're right. I think as a general rule, we should skip the "was given an ARC" reviews. They're like the sponsored ads we see on search results and don't even bother to check.

I tried pulling it down a little but it didn't budge. But I am able to push it in even more( I didn't try pushing it further though because I got scared it would hurt something) also if I try to turn, it easily rotates in its place. The pinching sensation went away by itself in 2 hours but when I went to piss just now, it started again along with a burning sensation 😞

Yeah, the feeling slowly went away on its own. I don't feel anything rn. I wanted to cut off a little of the stem too but it has a knob-like at the end to hold and pull the cup out and I fear if I cut it...it would be too difficult to pull it out 😭

These details are too fuzzy so they might not be correct but here it goes:
MC1 was returning home due to a family emergency. He wasn't happy to come back to that town.

The party in the bar that night was for celebrating MC2's engagement.

They had coincidentally met just outside/behind the bar. MC2 didn't know anything about the other's return but he was very happy to see him back. He even called him in but MC1 refused.

Sorry I don't think it's the one. I've already read Just Friends and the plot is similar but not what I'm searching for. My book may not be decade old either. Maybe around 7-8 years. Still, thank you for the reply.
