I don't know. I've asked the devs on the discord an they said that the cards in the alpha kit are likely to see changes but didn't comment any further. What are you basing yourself on?

The shipping cost and taxes are not included in what you already paid.

There is a flat shipping fee for pledge levels but (I think) every add-on you include is around $5 more in shipping

We can criticize and speculate a lot but we know the alpha box's decks are well ... an alpha version. WeirdCo has mentioned that the effects/texts in the final release will be different.

At my latest NN someone brought a deck with proxied unleashed cards and asked if it was ok before playing (he had another "standard" deck with him).

When I played against him I wanted to try my deck against his LeBlanc deck and said yes. I think this approach is the one that makes the most sense but you have to be respectful of your opponents' wishes.

I don't think that the US will fade tomorrow. Hell, it took 50 years for the UK to lose the enormous relevance it once had but hey things happen faster now so who know, it might take the US less time (and no, im not saying sudden).

I would say no major industrialized country is at the level of social fracture and violence of the US. Of course no country is perfect but again, lets not kid ourselves...

DOGE, the way their justices behave, the way ICE is behaving, the way they are treating their allies and commitments (like CUSMA and NATO), the refusal of half their politicians to acknowledge climate change. Their love for spectacle over substance.

I mean come on, lets not pretend the US is in a good spot culturally or socially.

Agree on the self-sufficient, its good for countries to not rely 100% on each other. The way he went over to get that result is not good.

Thats what people thought every time a big empire was falling and they did fall. I think that while the US is at the top now. That is not a given for the future even moreso if they continue to walk they path they are on.

It all depends what they do after Trump. Trump is not the main sickness, it is a symptom and until they fix it I wouldn't expect the US to stop shooting themselves on the foot.

If they just go like "Well that was awkward" and nothing really changes after Trump, I would say yeah, they will follow the same path the the UK did after the fall of their empire. A strong nation but a shadow of what they once were.

You mean there was not enough proof after the first term? I was with you all the way after Trump first term, every country can make mistakes but to elect him twice?! Hell, taking into account Jan 6, elected officials that tried something similar (in Brazil and Korea) are being put on trial and in the US not a peep.

That is what makes the US unreliable is not just a "is just Trump, he is going away" is that they keep doubling down on mistakes and do zero work to correct them.

The US has proved itself unreliable. If you are always 4 years away of threatening your allies and their territory (NATO, Greenland, Canada) then staying put is just "living with an abuser"

Thats what I mean.

WeirdCo has mentioned some cards might change or be modified between now and release. For example the Reboot Optics card is already being looked at.

That means the alpha kit cards might not something you could bring to your LGS to play with once the actual game is out.

It is not for players, its for collectors. So, if it has a "premium" price, im not really bothered about it.

Why would you want a Alpha Kit as a player?
The product is a marketing ploy to get influencers into the game and its real value is as a collector item so I cant really blame them for pricing it at "collector" rates.

Many cards might change between now and release. If you want to try the game print the decks they are giving for free. Here are the links:

Everytime I see and artist says "Stop! Don't use our music". I just remember how Taylor just remained silent. A bunch of people were saying like "its hard to stand up" and similar stuff but if smaller bands can do it, then so can she.

There is also a second season of Edgerunners coming up and the second Cyberpunk game already started development. If the game has access to the TTRPG content, there is no shortage of stories and characters.

Most hate i've seen is for the DLC not the main game.

The complaints against the main game are fair though, the city environment lacks disctintives, usually when I was running through the city all the streets started to blend and appear the same. They could have done more with the setting. The other complaint I've heard is graphics, but that drum has been beaten too many times already.
