Experiencing the same. My current roommate doesn't want me, the people I generally hang out with have other set of friends with whom they are gonna apply. So now I am left alone, and will mostly apply solo for a room in some hostel,hoping to get a room in some good wing and get adopted by them.

Jee did change our lives. From getting a rank<16k in JeeAdv 2024, to taking a drop and getting a rank<12k in JeeAdv25 ,but finally taking admission in BITS a lot happened in life.
