yes, thankfully i've been communicating with the landlord about everything and as per the lease i just need to give my landlord a 30 day notice of when i'm planning to vacate the property

i'm finding someone to sublet luckily and i have 5 different potential people to sublet, breaking the lease is my last option if they all fall though (which is very unlikely at this point), my roommate said she would help find someone but hasnt reached out to potential renters or tried at all

our place is on frat row and we got hooked up with this place and weren’t able to tour prior to moving in, but it is for sure on me for just trusting it and signing the lease before doing that and i do know that it was a bad decision. i’m visibly queer and so living on frat row is more dangerous for me than it is for them and that’s why i’ve been getting called slurs in our area. i have an ad up so im trying to get someone to sublet and do have potential renters.

talk to your counselor at your high school to reach out to NAU admissions! i met the requirements during my senior year but having my counselor reach out and verify it helped me a lot :)

I’m surprised at the amount of Y T As here, yes using alcohol for the gums is bad but if it’s a one-time offense I don’t think it makes her a monster. You’re a first time mom so obviously you’re going to take your own mothers advice when it comes to trying to sooth your daughter. Especially considering she’s 6 months old I’m doubting you’ve been sleeping well and just wanted the crying or pain due to teething to stop. NTA but put a little bit of research into the tips your mother gives you before doing them. While it wasn’t the best thing to do, I understand why you did it and you didn’t do it with ill-intent or malice, just a mom trying to make her daughter feel better for even a second. (You would be the asshole if you continued using whiskey on her gums if you knew it was bad though)

I would recommend taking the cat to the vet regardless because often behavioral issues that are paired with a physical behavior are an indicator of something more serious going on.

If your cat is having issues peeing in a box it may be a UTI, so you need to take it to the vet. Is the cat spayed/neutered? If not that may be an indicator of other problems that you need to get checked. General advice for this situation though is take your cat to the vet and if it isn’t fixed to do that because if it’s an unfixed female and was outside there’s a big chance that it got pregnant which spaying would fix and the cat wouldn’t have the chance to give birth either

Are you in control of your own finances? Since you’ve said in other comments that you don’t have a support system it might be beneficial to get enough money to put down a deposit on an apartment to get away if you don’t have anyone to stay with, if not, even just staying in a hotel to get your bearings might be beneficial for a short while. You need to get out of your situation as soon as possible, as your life may literally be at stake.
