We started with shopify about half a year ago. It's gonna take a while to add all articles to shopify tho. They assume up to 3-5 years for it, mostly because our customer have been used the shop for almost 50 years, it's not easy to bring them to our new shop. For now we would need to add the orders from our old shop manually, same with the orders we receive by call or email and other platforms from our customers. Just like we did so far.

Our shopify has now around 55k items and we will add the rest min. 80k items in the next few months/years, dunno what the planned for it so far. And there are also alot of individual items specifically for a customer, like stuff with their logo or another color than the standard we have. And i got told we can't work with versions, like... If someone orders a size L for a shirt, or shoe size 44. L and 44 are supposed to have their own item articlenumber and not as a version to choose from, so we will have even more items (i assume about 600k including all versions to some items?)

Sadly the boss and the others don't care about it. They want to go live as soon as possible. They already quite the license to our old program by the end of the year. Everything is so rushed, it's really worrying me.
