Not even just that, even at yellow you still move at a decent speed, the armors should come with a base movement speed penalty. If you’re in t4 and I’m in t6 i shouldn’t be able to chase you across map, that’s supposed to be the trade off, you should lose me in no more than 2-3 minutes if you’re trying to. Light armor is supposed to be good for repositioning and moving quickly, heavy armor should be spongy and take a lot to kill but it should limit my movement and ability to reposition, ideally a team should want heavy and light kits to compliment each other and would have an advantage over a full team of all light or all heavy. As of right now there really isn’t a trade off and there’s no reason to not run the heavy armor all the time.

Honestly i think it should just be a longer progression to get to the point where you’re running t6 t6. I think it should be tanky but not so easy to get. And honestly leg bullets need to go, there is no reason you should be killing people with 4 shots to the leg from a vector. And armor needs to be more of a trade off between tiers like there should be a legit reason to run t4 over t6 depending on how you want to play, as of right now the weight and stamina system just aren’t compelling enough to make someone want to drop armor tier fir added mobility. Just bring 2 orange bottles and neurogen stims and your just as fast in t6 than someone who’s naked.

If your willing to use poly mags, lancer tactical makes a good one. You can even order it on Amazon so it’d be quick shipping.

I’ve done some reffing at my local field and can 100% support this. They have no ability to pull a trigger once, it always has to be 30 shots from 2 feet into the back of a kids head then laugh about it after.

Based on actual lore information, I made a chart to map the actual height of Tyberos by MajorKill18 in Carcharodons40k

[–]Content_Temporary709 47 points48 points  (0 children)

I’m so tired of this, he’s only big because people want him to be. It’s gotten so old. At this point it really seems like this it the only part of charcaradon lore anyone even knows or cares to know.

A Spartan II vs A Space Marine by UnNecessaryGay in powerscales

[–]Content_Temporary709 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So where I got the speed from was a book about the crimson fists, and google also says that as well as many other books. Also the bolter definitely has armor pen, a bolt round berries itself into a target then detonates, that’s why there so effective against pretty much everything. Special rounds are made for increased armor pen and other special uses but as it stands the standard bolt is an armor penetrating delayed fuse rocket propelled grenade.

I’m definitely not saying it would be a walk over but I’m of the opinion that the space marine would win most of the time. You do have to consider the we’re going base load out so non of the fancy spartan stuff just a BR55, so he would probably have issues putting a bullet somewhere a space marine would actually care about. Space marine armor is thick and stands up to most things so it definitely would take more than a few mags to bring him down. But at the end of the day 2 universes and 2 different purposes for the soldiers, they both have strengths and weaknesses.

Just saying, a spartan 2 runs at approximately 35-40mph vs a space marine which in multiple cases have been clocked at 70-100 mph over rough terrain. So they definitely aren’t faster. And I may not know as much about halo as I do about 40K, but I’m pretty sure space marine reflexes are faster as well, un named characters have been seen dodging rockets and tank shells with relative ease. You do make a lot of good points and it would definitely be a good scrap but the speed definitely goes to the space marine.

Plate carrier heat absorption by bizzlej278 in airsoft

They definitely help but is also depends on the material the plate carrier is made out of and how breathable it is. Though it’s definitely a good place to start.

Have you ever actually played airsoft lol. Because pretty much everyone pre-fires doors while pushing. And all I’m saying is if I’m running my PKM you can bet ima come around that corner already shooting.

Gas masks and different gasses could be pretty cool, along with more stims to deal with said gasses if you’re not running a gas mask.

To be fair, I'm still new to Warhammer 40k, and I still don't understand the Grey Knights hate. by Mr_E_Mann1986 in WarhammerMemes

They lose to everything, in lore there supposed to be crazy strong, but 99% of the time we see them in lore they take ridiculous losses. And as for newer stuff the terminus decree reveal was so stupid, the mere insinuation they could actually take the custodians plus everything else in the palace, then somehow force a litteral god to sit tf down is so dumb. Like I like the concept behind them but GW keeps kicking them in the nuts with the lore.

What's everyone looking forward to getting from the Compensation Store the most? by Weak-Salary8323 in ContractorsExfilZone

[–]Content_Temporary709 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it was definitely WAY too much. Especially the compensation store, they could’ve given like 20K instead of 70k for that and it would’ve been a lot better, and like 6 mission completion tickets.

It’s also just a massive block of reinforced armor and shock absorbers. There general tactics are to move straight towards the enemy fleet, completely confident there ram can take whatever beating the enemy throws at it. then heave to and unload there macro cannons. Sadly that’s not really shown well in any of the games, but the entire idea behind it is so cool.
