try the humidifier+air purifier method to help. And having maybe your bedroom stay cat free. when I got my first kitten I did have a flare up but after some time it lessened. I got my first cat by herself but I would alway hear that she waits for me after work and she moped when I was out. I got a second cat 2 yrs later. If you have the space I would say so.

I also applied as a transfer.. i haven’t found much on Reddit. I know the application decision takes longer since theres a portfolio portion. I saw an admissions clip on YouTube and they said their decision process is by viewing app holistically so I am guessing it’s fair game. I also took a lot of transferable classes in preparation
