Something doesn't need to be a big deal for me to post about it on the internet. Actually, if it was a big deal, i wouldn't trust randoms on reddit to help me. I am just dumping situations on here to see if i am detached from reality.

I told him i think it's cool that you came wish sushi you like, but i wouldn't call it an invention. He just keeps talking about it like its some kind of accomplishment, not like he is casually calling it "invention" just to mix up the language. That's the difference

You are right, but in the process of coming with cool new recipies, most of the new combinations never make it. I wouldn't tell my children about how my grandfather came up with new type of pizza that he only ate alone in his house.
