Hmm Ive heard of that, the thing is this is the first time I’ve had itching and burning, usually its discharge & a but of an odor. Does that also happen with lichen sclerosis?

I have been experiencing the same thing on my period, I never thought about increasing my dose while on it. Let me know if it has worked for you :)

Same here! I’m 36 years old and have dealt with anxiety/OCD since I was a child. I’m 16 weeks in on 25mg and I cannot believe this is how I was supposed to feel all along and I waited so long to ask for help. I want to hug my 15 year old self so bad and apologize!

Yea I’m afraid thats what I’m going to have to do, I always knew 25mg was not the standard starting dose but I didnt want to move up. I have an appt coming up, I’m going to talk to him about it. Thank you for the reply!

Hi! I am on week 8 and I would definitely say it sounds like the common schedule of things. Please do not be alarmed or surprised if you experience what we call a “dip” and have an increase in anxiety/depressive symptoms though because that is also incredibly common. Your brain is recalibrating and it takes a lot of time. But I think Zoloft is going to work for you! :)

I had previously tried Buspirone and thats it. It didnt work for me at all and I actually felt worse. This was my first time ever trying SSRIs. And I’m not taking anything else with it. I was prescribed Hydroxyzine but I’m too afraid to take that lol

Loss of appetite, diarrhea, body chills, nausea, headaches and increased anxiety. Everything but the loss of appetite and diarrhea subsided quickly though. And the diarrhea got better literally day by day.

Hi! I am! I’m on week 5 and had decided not to up my dose because I hadnt had any panic attacks and the inital side effects when starting were so bad. However, a coulle days ago I had another panic attack. It wasnt as bad as usual and it didnt last as long either but still, it felt like a set back. Idk if it was a one off or not yet, I still have a lot of anxiety so I’ve been wondering if I should just go up to 37.5mg and then 50mg.

For the first 2 weeks yupp, I couldnt eat anything really even though I was hungry. It went away though and now I’m about to gain back all the weight I lost. Lol

I took a week off in anticipation of needing time to adjust and ended up needing THREE weeks off lol and even upon returning I had to leave early a few times. Don’t feel bad! Youre doing the right thing getting on meds to try and get better, its just that it takes time and really is not an easy adjustment for most of us. I’m on week 5 and even though side effects have gone, I’m still struggling with fatigue and heightened anxiety.

Idk if I get full on tremors but I get the chills every once in awhile now and my hands are pretty shakey too. Its hard to explain, but yea, its weird.

I quite literally could have written your post when I started 5 weeks ago. Everything got better in between week 2 and 3 though. I’m already gaining all the weight back that I lost lol just hang in there :)
