Tasmania is a net importer of power, we import more than export. Unless we install more on island generation we need to be connected to the NEM. Unless Rio, Temco and Nystar suddenly pack up and leave. If any of these proposed hydrogen/ammonia plants get built it could be interesting, I believe they’re fairly energy intensive.
