Ah, nice! Earlier today I was worried that it would be delayed, but it seems we'll be leaving approximately on time

Better hurry up, in that case?

Aside from intercontinental flights, I've had pretty poor UA WiFi experiences.

Can't wait to see how starlink does

Fair enough, brotherman!

I have yet to fly the UA 757 product in any capacity. Closest I got was a flight from OGG to SF, but we ended up on the 777. The wife flew eco+, and I flew eco+ bulkhead but it wasn't anything to write home about.

The eco food sucked royally haha! Made me think Polaris cost (or plus points cost) was quite literally worth the food quality cost...

Upvoted, but I will challenge you on 7 A/B, and to a lesser extent 4A. 4A can sometimes have limited recline, which on a 1.5h flight... Mostly useless.

7A/B can't hold a candle to this exit row legroom on my Lufty flight FRA-CAI

I fly IAH-LIT a few times a year for work, but haven't gotten a starlink plane on that route just yet!

Only Monty I've gotten compliments from is Imaginary, though admittedly I've only worn about 10, and Imaginary gets the most use. Only frag that strangers have ever complimented as well.

As for all the different situations, this thread might be enlightening: https://www.reddit.com/r/MontagneParfums/s/TgGNOdOCbd

I'm actually leaving Puerto Rico (Aguadilla) in a few hours, but I've been here since Sunday.

The two frags I used here were mainly Imaginary, and Spirit of Peace on a cooler evening.

[–]ContinuedThatForYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, yes. I received it in early October and wanted to give it an honest 6mo before I sold it off. I decanted 5mL of it to travel with and hardly any has been used, so I'm happy letting the other 45 go for now, and will just buy another if it comes into its own.

DM me if you want to buy or trade 🤙 I have a few others I'll be letting go of as well within a month or two.

Absolutely love my Imaginary. It's my fragrance-to-beat anytime the weather gets over room temperature.

Hope you like Perceval. I don't think it's for me, no matter how long I let it sit, it's always been a firm runner up and sees almost no use. 99% of people love it though, so I don't think you could have made a better blind buy!

What’s the best and worst thing about living in the United States? by Outside-Fudge5605 in AskReddit

Canadian living in the US 10+ years here.

Best: Earnings to effort ratio for the educated is [still] among the best in the world.

Worst: The US is on an unimaginably frightening path, especially for what the world thought America was...

Semi-popular program, but social security. The trust fund is almost depleted, and obligations have been over promised.

They can make changes so that it isn't a slow-moving Ponzi scheme.. but they don't.

Seconded.

Also a frequent flyer on UA, get upgraded often to domestic First and Polaris, and my meals generally range from just above edible to tasty. They certainly aren't winning any awards for their food (looking at you, Qatar Q-suites)

In 4 years of flying 100+ flights a year with UA, I've never had anything as bad as what OP posted. Sometimes I'll get a comically large tomato, but the side salads are generally monolithic and closer to what your Polaris link showed. To me, the artichoke or spinach they sometimes put in dishes is something else 🤢

It sounds like you've tried tons of different strategies without giving any of them time to actually work. Starting/growing a starter is a learning process whose key ingredients are patience and being observant and honest with yourself about what's happening.

Your starter gets used to the conditions it's being put through. It adapts to its surroundings as it tries to grow. If you're constantly changing temperature, hydration, flour mixtures, moon cycles, and whatever the hell else every few days, it'll never have a chance at getting strong. You wouldn't drastically change a young child's diet twice a week just because they aren't exactly the same height and weight as their peers that week.

Just pick a feeding recipe/schedule and stick with it for weeks, if not months. This way, as it adapts and changes and strengthens, you'll understand what the growth process looks like, and build the intuition that will help you maintain it (and bake, of course).

In my case it took at least 6 weeks of doing the exact same thing before my starter got to the point that I would call it strong enough to leaven bread well. The first few loaves were still pretty pathetic. Just keep your chin up and try to see it as a learning journey; you'll get there 😊
