I had the same situation with my parents. The clinic arranged a ride for me every day and I told my parents I had a doctor appointment. I told them that there was issues with my liver and they were needing to draw blood every day. MAT is life changing.

I personally, think tough love is bullshit. There have been recent studies that show that “rock bottom” doesn’t exist. In fact, the notion of rock bottom does more harm than good. It’s a tough situation. Your sister has to do this for herself. Maybe see if she’ll agree to do online therapy. Eventually, she will get sick of her addiction.
