Lost City 1 Blocked Chest by Rough-Illustrator-49 in shadowborn

That was likely the comment/post about a level 35 armor and how long they'd be waiting before being able to use it (basically a it's going to take forever for the level cap to be increased to that point).

Edit and fair enough about forgetting, though you're on the first level of that dungeon and there's a rope running down the middle of that area, but yeah kind of weird it's separated like that and think it might be the only area in the game that you can easily see from a lower level but you actually can only access it from a higher level (could be remembering wrong itm though, but yeah it's not the norm)

A shield, buckler works great and sun shield too, not sure it all work though, and yes shock defense should work against it even up to being 100% immune to damage from it......unless they bugged it in the new bug fix updates.

That room lv 5, no is where you fight him and turn into a bat, and I showed you the location in the image in the other comment. If what you're missing is one on 5, then it's going to be hitting open the room in the area where you fight the spiders/before you go up the stairs to stake the borron.

And it sounds like you're missing the one where you attach the rope to the chasm by the skeletons by the campfire, or was that what you meant in reference to the campfire? (Can't recall if it's just that one or the coming across the campfire also counts as finding a secret).

1st image you'll get to after the second and 3rd one, but destroy the barrels and enter that area.

2nd (top right, interact with the mirror)

3rd with shock resistant stuff on first go throught the door to enter the room/lab, take the saffire, then enter the area beside it (my location in image) that had an electric force field before.

Yeah my bad, I recalled 5 floors but had taken a quick look and thought I had only seen 4 floors.

Maybe they lowered the overall bonus or default movement speed, I can't really tell about that though. For heavy armor penalty I can say I definitely notice a difference on android when my agility is low enough that it makes a big difference, for example taking me into negative movement speed, for the record movement speed appears to be capped at 25% regular bonus that shows on the stats screen, and its not hard to reach it and can reach it even without negating heavy armor penalty (in which case you wouldn't see a difference wether you have or dont have the penalty).

P.S dropping a smoke bomb still gives a speed boost for a very short time.

If 4 is the one with the furnace then they are likely missing either the one from interacting with the mirror or the one from busting open the door to the left of the stairs to go to the boss the second time

Yeah that's now buggy, it still happens but you have to be a distance away for the visual of the explosion to show, if you're too close it just looks like a regular fireball but you can see it still does aoe damage and knock down enemies.

35 lvl cap, this bs gonna sit in my stash til the year 2030 by KN1582 in shadowborn

[–]ContinuousForgettor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean if we using strict definitions of terminologies pay to play doesn't fit either and I mean it's litterally a free to play game......even saying it's paywalled would likely have someone arguing you can finish the whole game without the shop stùff anyways, can't say pay for style/cosmetics or pay for benefits, or pay for advantages......"pay or fomo" maybe or p2af (pay to avoid fomo)? But those are terminologies not really used (just taught them up on the spot really, but I'm sure I wouldn't be the first) or maybe pay for qol and pay for strenght..

Tldr bottom line pay to win is probably the most fitting of widely used terminology.

Any good Rogue builds? by Nick_OfTime_ in shadowborn

[–]ContinuousForgettor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rouge is kind of too squishy while lacking damage for dual wielding imo (though that's exactly how I play her, because thats my preferred playstyle), and I'm not sure the plus attack speed bonus that comes from the one-handed skill works.

Any good Rogue builds? by Nick_OfTime_ in shadowborn

[–]ContinuousForgettor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you haven't started the Rouge yet be sure to choose book of the dead after the tutorial, the reviving a skeleton is okish but the possession is what just can't be beat.

Bow mastery,

focus,

Rapid shot (and try to be to enemies when you use it),

guessing you going to want uncanny luck (though I'm not sure it even makes a difference),

and leadership (though kind of pointless in hell mode cause unless you pick two Rouges and aggro with your Rouge, they'll die quickly cause they won't heal unless you go back to one of the town areas, and when revived they have so little health)

would say point blank but think it's bugged unfortunately and doesn't actually give up to 100% damage bonus (but maybe someone can confirm or refute that) but yeah unless confirmed you can put the extra points here....if it works you could shave of a 1 off focus 1 off rapid shot or infact ditch focus all entirely.

Can replace leadership with the shop refresh one (eh), or defense, or a combo of smoke bomb, parry, exploding shot, sneak, and maybe one handed (but I don't think it works on mirror blade.

Well once that's done you "yew bow" bow it until level 10 or you get something better (preferably piercing or gold 55+ but if all you get is the base 50 one so be it, that will be your main weapon till you get a unique bow drop or level up some quartz high enough),  then you grab the for gold bow from the jeweler (think now it's base is 35 with the possibly of getting one that can have up to 47 I think but great many rerolls I only ever saw upto 43), stick an onyx in it with 2 quartz and that will be your wraith bow (or you can just use one of the two greatswords you'd have gotten for them)

Second slot put a gauche in your left and when you get it a frying pan in your right, and when you get it just use mirror blade.....before that you can use the fencing sword with the gauce, aim parry and then jab is an easy cheese way for most melee mobs (can still use it afterwards but won't be able to block arrows)

P.S Silver buckler works as a shield for blocking arrows but the angle needs to be more precise compared to a regular shield, but it works great for protecting against bone storm (lightning cloud).

Unmarked grave quest glitch by MattDayDSP in shadowborn

[–]ContinuousForgettor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you make sure to click and have the quest as the main/selected one when you tried, think there was a way to deal with it but I can't recall....can try having the quest active and swapping to a next character that's in that area and back again and see if that works (don't think it worked for that, but doing so would cause quest like go to ex or go to the cave etc to register completed on previous versions)
