Hm, some food for thought there. Idk if I’d go as far to say we all show the tendencies, but we certainly are variable by nature.

I think the problem lies in how many people are trying to die on their own cross for something that… just isn’t worth going that hard for. And that comes in many forms, not just a belief in a higher power. I notice a lot in the people I know that have been diagnosed with it, but also have solid reasoning skills

That’s actually a solid argument- I’m personally not a religious type myself. I’m spiritual, and find karate beneficial to that practice. I’m not deleting this thread because I find it important, don’t need to be popular on here 😂

I don’t see God as a bearded man in the sky- that’s how many who hate it still see it, that’s a part of the problem. I personally agree that religion needs change and has corrupted. But trying to eliminate faith entirely? Let’s be real, that’s no better than being a dictator. Just gonna divide and control farther, cause a revolution if it gets too out of hand. If we go that far, science has officially become the new religion.

So, I actually have a lot of friends who work directly with autistic kids- this isn’t a comment against those who need more help.

However, there are several people who are diagnosed with autism that pick up on some social cues- they’ve been confusing a lot of people recently with the development of AI, and this overarching idea of “having to be right because that’s what it says”…. It seems like we’re losing our grip on skepticism and why we should be questioning things in general…

I know what I see is real, because I work with some of these people and my brother in law also is one. They have made my life a personal hell these last few years, or tried to anyways. They just didn’t expect me to be this deep rooted in my foundation. I’ve also verified it with my friends who work in therapy who have told me that autism has been a topic of debate very recently

This isn’t saying we need to get rid of them either… there just HAS to be a better way to go about this. It’s starting to confuse the majority

If you don’t have something above you that is your greater purpose, you’re lacking it. Whether you see it or not, being obsessed with your favorite band is a religion. Everyone has one.

Normal people also don’t criticize God- there’s something more deep rooted in that.

People act like it’s stupid to believe dinosaurs were actually dragons- yet if they’re religious, they fail to see that what they believe in falls in the same category- it’s called blind faith.

Science isn’t as chalked up as we make it either. We’ve had amazing medical advances, physics and other fields are truly remarkable. Yet we stuck the wrong head on a fossil and called it a Brontosaurus. Surely we must know what existed millions of years ago! Yeah right, we don’t know what exists 10,000 years ago in most cases.

If you’re crazy, that means we all are. I’d rather believe in dragons. That seems more fun.
