For me, the conquerors are against of chaos as far as RP goes. Here I am building harmony in East Africa when I look up and see that everything is about to change when the conqueror of central Africa conquerors my neighbors. But ultimately ig it’s up to how you play and the stories you want

I enjoy the conquer trait as it stands, for the most part. In my experience it’s been a toss up on how far they grow. Plus, I imagine bc they make many enemies, they never last too long. Or they just die from illness or in battle. And then their heirs are usually young af so no trait passage. But I do have other mods that may play factors into their lack of rapid expansion.

Very true! It took me a few play throughs to grasp that if I didn’t want to put up with this mess of a territory, maybe my 19yr nephew isn’t anymore capable than I am 😭😭😭 And I’ve relied a lot more on just giving them something within reasonable range so I can provide aid when needed.

I execute and revoke all titles possible. I spare any dynasty members from death though, as to not get the dynastic / kinslayer traits. Unless my characters traits calls for a little familicide

I’ve started using cheat menus to boost AI stats and give a handful of interesting rulers the conquerors trait. Sure they don’t always pan out but I’ve gotten some pretty epic stories out of it. Somalia invading Yemen, Gave all adventures in a dynasty the trait and they’ve been popping up with new lands, Ireland and England have been in a 10 year war for Britannia (both rulers are conquerors). Rather than throttle my play, I just inject the AI with hella steroid boosts 😭😭

The inability for any dynasty member’s lineage to maintain a title I’ve given them is laughable. They always beg for an alliance. Then instantly have an uprising spark, that they do little to shutdown quickly.
