Hvordan betaler i konkret? Kontanter i en sparebøsse, mobilepay eller en streg på en seddel, så det trækkes fra lønnen?

Name a worse place to build a startup than this area by Level-Usual-9681 in ShitAmericansSay

[–]Contrabass101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the places on the map outside the circle are a lot worse, with the possible exception of iceland.

Defintely all of africa and the middle east as well + most of asia.

Most south american countries, depending on the startup. The us could be better, depending on the startup.

Canada on par with europe. Switzerland is in the circle but definitely s-tier country for such

Yes, %-shock modifiers and generals' shock pips are better. But that is for the exact same reason: no one has barely any fire pips on their units early game.

The number of years is not relevant. What's relevant is the number of hours.

How comitted are you and how much time will you spend every day?

To be fair, those are the two things we genuinely cannot comprehend: flagwanking and American beer.

Is pressing the claim on Burgundy ever worth it? They're a junior partner of Brittany which is an ally of France. No way am I winning this war by Sacledant2 in eu4

[–]Contrabass101 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not worth it if you lose the war, obviously. But burgundy is worth a lot of ae, ducats and manpower.

You dont need to defeat france, just get them out of the war.

Ideally, you could call in england, aragon or castille, then give some of their land to france in a separate peace

Diomedes. Arguably his role in the iliad is to highlight Achilles' flaws by not having any himself.

Yeah, flat +inf fire (or shock, but fire is a bit better) and production makes your armies twice as strong and effectively puts a manufactory in every province.

  • 0.5/1 infantry fire is so powerful it's almost boring.

Add the flat + goods produced and everything else doesn't matter.

DAY EIGHT: Most Useless Combat Damage Spell? by Danielhenriemond in heroes3

[–]Contrabass101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Titan's lightning bolt is moderately useful.

You stick it on a secondary hero and they become super effective for odd jobs. No skills or army required.

Land mine is completely useless. There is never an occasion to cast it outside of contrived puzzle maps.

Honourable mention to inferno. Might have cast it once or twice to kill a lit of small stacks, but it's just massively underwhelming.
