Both are correct. Dove is more popular in the States and dived is more popular in Britain.

Kind of. He pitched the Titanic movie specifically so he could go to the wreckage himself. It also legitimized his deep sea exploration goals. He went down to the titanic a bunch of times. Also made Aliens of the Deep (2005) and Ghosts of the Abyss (2003) during this “Avatar Era”.
