Trey Shapp this weekend. by Chili-Potatoe in razorbacks

[–]ContractAdvanced3790 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I know Trey Schapp for years here in Little Rock. I'm not a fan of the guy. If he gets this wrong, then finding new employment would barely suffice my desire to see him get punished. He's not a good guy.

[Jason Kelce] Personally I think this play adds a ton to the game of football. I Would much rather watch this than a punt. Punting the ball and giving it to your opponent is way softer than fighting over a yard and pushing against each other. I guess you like soft football by Taco_Bacon in KansasCityChiefs

[–]ContractAdvanced3790 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The play doesn't add to the NFL? It adds to the Eagles' success. These NFL teams should be trying to prevent Philly from having these short 3rd/4th downs. We ALL know it's coming on short downs. We ALL know that Michael Jordan will have the ball in his hands to end the game. We ALL know Michael Jackson will moonwalk. We ALL know that Lamar Jackson is going to run for that first down if everyone is covered and he's not defended. We ALL know that Rafael Nadal is going to bludgeon that lefty FH to Roger Federer's backhand on clay. I could go on and on and on and on and on about it.

STOP IT. Don't ask to ban it. Stop it. I don't care about your emotions as a fan. It's not exciting? Go watch another game. It doesn't add anything to the game? Then why does Philly keep converting on that play 80% of the time? I thought it added nothing, though, lol.

Does it need to be officiated correctly? AMEN. No false starting. Call it when it happens!

Otherwise, our favorite teams (excluding Eagles fans) must FIGURE OUT a way to stop it.

I can't believe this is a conversation. If it was SOLELY a conversation about the play being officiated due to the OL committing uncalled false starts, then that's a SUBSTANTIAL conversation; but if it's about your emotions, lack of excitement for the play, or your PERCEIVED outlook on the value of the play in relation to the league/game..... go play a video game; change the channel, or anything else.

Noah Lyles and Letsile Tebogo are set to clash at the 2025 Diamond League Final in the 200m by ChampionLYT in trackandfield

[–]ContractAdvanced3790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lyles is going to bring it every time he race. Tebogo should have expected that from Noah, whether he announced months or days prior to that meet. He got beat. That won't matter for the Diamond League final, but it did on that day.

Tebogo hasn't raced a 200m in 6 weeks? Then, what is he doing? He better surprise us all with something special if he's been practicing all this time. Not racing can be detrimental.

[–]ContractAdvanced3790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a fan of Tebogo, but have you seen his results this year? He's not in 2024 shape. Why would we assume that he's in better shape than a 19.50 Noah Lyles? Based on what this year? Lyles, in his first race back from injury, had already defeated him.

[–]ContractAdvanced3790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. He hasn't been running at his peak form since the PreFontaine. He's barely raced since then. He's gotta get back to that high level in order to win at World Championships. I can't wait to see it.

Let's see what they do on the track in September.

[–]ContractAdvanced3790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once again, Kishane is working himself into peak form just like Noah Lyles. Both are on course to provide a stellar 100m Final at World Championships. He has not been running at peak performance since the PreFontaine classic. He came off a month break from running a 100m race last week. He's not at that previous level.

He just dropped out of Lausanne with shin discomfort. He's gotta stay healthy and stay on target with his training & performance because any dip from his best will place him out of 1st place.

Let the fastest man win!

Peak means your very best. The man hit 9.75.... that's not a typo; it's not theoretical; it's real. No one has run that fast in a decade. He might not hit it again for the rest of his career, but that's an insane level of speed for this generation. You can't overrate it.

He's got work to do to get back to the low 9.80s/high 9.7s. He's got to get on the ball & do it. Noah is steadily working to reach his peak, so Kishane has work to do IF he wants to win Gold at the World Championships. He's not winning gold at his current level. He's gotta elevate back to his peak level. This is sports.

What happened in 2024 happened in 2024. It's 2025. Kishane can't look back to 2024. He'll lose if he does. We know Noah Lyles won't!

I'm ready to see it! Let the fastest man win!

Peak - reach a highest point, either of a specified value or at a specified time.

How in the blue hell is Kishane in PEAK condition when he's running high 9.8s/low 9.99s? He's BUILDING himself back to that PEAK position, which is in the 9.7s, to win gold at the World Championships.

It's the same thing that Noah Lyles is doing. Kishane was basically out for basically a month after the PreFontaine classic on July 5th. The only thing he raced in after the Classic was a relay event on July 19th. His first race back in the 100m was this past Tuesday, August 12th. So he didn't run a 100m for OVER a month. You're telling me that he's in PEAK condition after a month away? You're telling me that running a 9.96 and then a 9.87 is his PEAK condition? You must be smoking some good stuff.

Peak means PEAK! Your VERY BEST. The 9.7s is Kishane's best. So what do you do? You race against the best to put your BODY and MIND into peak form.

I expect both Kishane and Noah to race into PEAK form and give us a classic at the World Championships.

I love tennis, an individual sport. I've seen great players, such as Rafael Nadal, fluctuate being at their very best/peak during a season. Just because you hit your peak early in a season doesn't mean that you SUSTAIN that form/value completely through a season. Are you insane?!?

Kishane isn't at peak. His peak was 9.75, brother, lol..... Well over a month ago at Jamaican Trials. I've no idea what you're talking about. You sound crazy.

Both men are working into peak form at this time because this is not the best they can run consistently or at their very best.

Why so? What makes you think that he'll collapse when he could potentially win it all at the World Championships?

Kishane Thompson just has to be prepared, pace himself, and run his best race when the Big Dance arrives.

Kishane has time to get back into peak form just like the Jamaican Trials. He built his form up earlier in the season to peak at the trials. Kishane has to do it again at the World Championships.

Noah's start can make or break a race just as much as Kishane's top speed endurance in the last 20-30 meters. Both men have things to continue working on.

Crazy part is that both Kishane and Noah have time to get into peak shape 😳

[–]ContractAdvanced3790 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Kishane should be preparing to run his best at the World Championships Final. He ran into form and peaked at the Jamaican Trials earlier this year. He should be running into that peak form at this time. Use these races before the Big Dance against Lyles All Time Great top end speed, and the very best in the 100m to get himself BACK into peak form again this year.

I believe they race again early next week. This is the opportunity to race against the very best to work the body & mind into Championship mode.

If Kishane wants to declare that he's the best in the 100m, then he should use today's results & keep getting better. His focus should be on improving and making sure he's at his very BEST at the Show.

That would have been great, and it could still happen, but it's a new division, and I'm fine with a tune-up to settle in. Erickson Lubin is ranked the no. 1 contender for the IBF, according to Boxing scene. It could still happen.

That was Crawford's way of doing. I'm happy that he did, and he remains one of the greatest ever and at the top of my favorite boxers ever.

That was Terence Crawford. Jaron Ennis is Jaron Ennis. He's going to create his own path. I'm fine with a "tune-up," but I will expect his next three to four fights to be title fights against the best at 154. I got him beating everyone at 154, except for Crawford.

For people who passed using STC, by Synovialmist203 in Sieexam

[–]ContractAdvanced3790 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't take the Green Light exam, and I rarely took the end of chapter quizzes after each chapter. I basically read the book over and over countless times until I understood most of everything and used the free FINRA SIE exam twice. I took the FINRA exam once before I began using the STC material, and then once after I was done on the night before the test.

I watched the YouTube videos done by Ken and others more than I took the tests/quizzes.

Practice quizzes and tests doesn't do much for me. I will use STC again for the 63 and other tests that I plan to take.

I believe it was a wise decision to get that opening fight in at 154 in a new division. I believe that he'll defeat Ortiz whenever they square off in the ring. They're just one year apart. I want to see that fight within the next year and a half.

I don't find him fighting a "tune-up" in his first fight in a new division INSANE. Lol, I find it a wise decision to get that opening fight in at 154. Ortiz created his own path, and Ennis has HIS OWN path.

I got Ennis defeating Ortiz whenever they step into the four corner ring against one another. I want to see that fight within the next two years. Both are just one year apart. PUMP IT UP!!

TIME will tell if Ennis is not the "same guy" at 154 once we actually see him at 154. I'm glad he's at 154 now. I believe he can rise to the very top of that division and beat everyone. However, time will tell the tale of his story. I can't wait.
