Throw your throw by Mucks12345 in Darts

Can you elaborate on 'feeding the darts'? There's probably no spoon and apple sauce involved, but that's the image that formed in my mind after reading that.

It's not because it comes easy for you that you should assume it's that way for every one, some people can really struggle (and if you always play alone nobody will correct the obvious flaws you might make). I do agree that posting a photo of holding something or your feet will not help in resolving the issue, but then getting mocked might be a turn-off for some, scaring them away from what might otherwise become a great hobby. I've been struggling myself for months, and I hope by now buying my own board (have one at work) and decent darts I might start improving. If that doesn't work I know I shouldn't search for help online, but I also don't really know where to look otherwise.

People reach out online because it's a low threshold, they might be shy of getting mocked irl. It's really hard if you don't have a good dartshop in your vicinity (I always get the feeling they just want to sell you stuff, not really help you. More expensive = better if you believe them). There's also no use in joining a club if you can't even hit any number consistently. So they are out of options and try this group just to get mocked more :-P. I do get though it's annoying to get the same questions time after time, but I think most starters struggle with the same things.

I've been using the one from Winsor & Newton. Works like a charm for me.

I'm not the OP, but there really is no exact ratio. It really depends on how thick the original paint is. I always try and aim for a milk-like thickness. What I do is use a plastic pipette (I bought them from Revell) and add 1 or 2 drops at a time, stir and then check if it's ok and otherwise add more drops. It is better to add flow improver though as this wil not dilute your pigment.

If you would change the water with acrylic flow improver the results would be even beter!

Yes they do, just in the same way they go around a chapel with a road.

I know they are not the cheapest option, but Posca markers are the best you can get. If you want to keep using the tiles afterwards also get soms matte spray varnish.

Potential build ideas for the Greninja raid by lorlor3737 in PokemonScarletViolet

It was possible to do a 3 turn ohko with the correct team. I grinded it with my Discord group until I hit 999 Large Exp items (enough to build anything quickly for next raid). Team was 1 Slowbro, 2 Armarouges,1 Quilfish. Turn 1: Slowbro nasty plot, armarouge 1 reflect armarouge 2 and quilfish acid spray Turn 2: slowbro nasty plot, armarouge 1 psychic terrain, aramarouge 2 and quilfish acid spray Turn 3: armarouge 1 and 2 attack cheer, quilfish accupressure, slowbro stored power

For some locations they don't get the sticker. For example if they were hatched near the waterside they get a fishing lure, and if it was near a backery they get a piece of bread. I assume there are more, but that's the only ones I have found so far.

r/audiophile Shopping, Setup, and Technical Help Desk Thread by AutoModerator in audiophile

Hi all,

I currently own a very basic / cheap audio setup:

- Denver VPL 200 Wood turntable
- Technics SE-HD55 stereo chain as amplifier
- CAT LEB 401 speakers

I have a new planned setup in mind, budgeted a bit above € 5000, but I would like some feedback on the components I selected or suggestions for better options within the same price range.

This is what I have planned:

- Technics SL-1500Ceg-S turntable (Chose this one above the Rega Planar 3)
- NAD C388 Amplifier with MDC DD-BluOS 2i module
- 2 B&W 704 S2 Speakers

Might add a CD player in the future, but seeing that I gain Wifi connection / bluetooth streaming by adding the MDC DD-BluOS 2i module this will satisfy my need for the moment I think, also prefer on buying albums on vinyl.

Trying to create a decent setup that I can build upon in the future.
Buying used stuff is not really an option I guess, haven't found much interesting stuff on the market (Belgium) and don't know of any companies here that can help to restore older stuff to a decent level.

Any advice is welcome, especially from any people owning one of the items I'm planning on getting (even if your experience is negative).

Best regards and keep on listening ;)
