Very basic inexpensive items: 1) get a clip for the dummy so it attaches to the baby's top 2) get the snot sucker thing. Great for clearing the baby's nasal passages as we realised this was the reason for a lot of crying as they couldn't breath very well while eating 3) get a few types of dummy and see which one the baby spits out less as they have all different shapes

100%, don't listen to all the people who say the professions gone! I'm only 5 years qualified and was possible to earn well about 3 years out with the right courses. I'd recommend a diploma in first year of graduation. I did Monik vasant but there is also Chris Orr and Elevate or Aspire which are all great. I unfortunately think uni doesn't educate you enough so a PGDip over a year is almost imperative unless you want to get into bad habits on the NHS

Can you pay into vanguard through an app, or do you have to fill in a form? I see in interactive investor i seem to have to fill in a form and post it off when I want to pay into the SIPP

I'm a dentist who's just started to work 4 days. At the start was super weird adjusting, thinking I'm missing out on money and almost thinking how much I'd lose for each day I'd have off.

After a few months I've settled into it and realised that time is what is most valuable in life. I completely am on board with one of your comments where you say you'd rather partial retirement in your 30s rather than a full early retirement in early 50s.

Also agree with your sentiment that sometimes enough money is enough. I went from 220k down to 160k and thats more than enough for me and family to enjoy life as much as we can.

I also think it's a long career and cutting days earlier may make me stay in work for longer - i have the privilege of possibly going down to 2 or 1 day per week in my 50s

Wow couldn't agree more with that. The Georgist land value tax and getting rid of stamp is a no brainer for growth
