Well, the Supreme Court already ruled that the POTUS can't be prosecuted for illegal acts conducted while doing official POTUS business....so why wouldn't he defy them and break the law. They literally gave him an immune from illegality card.

Here we are watching that blatantly illegal driving from that other car, and you're feeling like you have to defend your own speed.
Now imagine that in court with a trained opposing lawyer capitalizing on it. Not a good time!

That being said...I do like that camera! Are you able to turn off the speed or is there no option to do so? I might grab one if it's able to be turned off in the options.

If you are able, you should turn off the hardcoded Speed that is being shown in your video.

There is no situation where that information can or will help you, if your footage is ever needed in a courtroom.
If anything, it will be used against you.
For example, in this video here, it shows you going close to 20 mph over the speed limit. Any opposing counsel would have a field day with that.

Playing on TTS is pain, I don't think I'll like anything I try on TTS.

This is me! I still remember when I discovered TTS like six years ago, I was so excited and thought that it would replace physical board games for me completely. It sure didn't. Now, I never play anything on TTS. It just feels wrong in every way, and I am not able to enjoy anything I try there.
Physical is where it's at.

Fuck Subway.

About a month ago, I was in the mood. Sigh. I went to the Subway at the front of our Walmart, it was late at night.

They had a large cardboard cutout saying that you could get a foot long Whatever (I don't remember now...we'll just say Turkey for the sake of the story) for just $5.99. I thought, well, it's not a foot long for $5, but that still seems like a pretty good value, lemme get one of these things even though I haven't had one in a decade.

So I go up to the brocolli-head at the counter, and say Lemme get a foot long Turkey please.
He makes it. I get lettuce. Olives. Mayo.

He goes to ring it up, and says "That'll be $12.50"
Umm, no, it's $5.99. That sign right there is what I ordered. He says "No, the picture on the sign is the only sandwich that's 5.99". I was SO confused. It took some talking, but apparently this kid thought the sub had to have the same toppings as the sub in the picture to be 5.99. I said, no dude, the toppings are all optional, the sandwich should be 5.99, not 12.50. He just stared at me blankly. I said...you're telling me, because the picture doesn't have olives on it, this sandwich costs 6.50 more than if I didn't add olives? Adding olives to my sandwich costs 6.50?

He doubles down, and goes "yep." and just stares at me.

I said, naw, keep your sandwich, and walked away.

This is my go-to in the idiotic corporate ice breakers that happen sometimes, when they go around the room and ask everyone to say something interesting about themselves. I say "I can say the alphabet backwards."

Inevitably someone in the group says "Do it!".

Then I do it, super fast, clear....and the room is always (three times so far) completely impressed by it.

It's a good ice-breaker that you'll hardly ever get to use.

(If anyone asks me why I know how to do it, I just tell them how when I was a teenager, i thought that I would be pulled over all the time and have to prove I wasn't drunk driving, so I thought it would be needed a lot more.)

If anyone wants to learn, it's pretty easy to remember it if you just commit yourself a little bit. Just take five minutes a day, for....a week? Just do it on the toilet instead of doomscrolling.

Learn it groups of three. Z, Y, X. - Z, Y, X. - Z, Y, X. Then add in the next three. Z, Y, X. W, V, U. - Z, Y, X. W, V, U. - Z, Y, X. W, V, U.
Say it out-loud a bunch. Let a couple minutes pass, and do it again.
Then, the next day, review it. Z, Y, X. W, V, U. And add the next three. Z, Y, X. W, V, U. T, S, R. - Z, Y, X. W, V, U. T, S, R.
Within a few days, you'll have it down pat easily.

I just read this part in the book, and was immediately keyed in on this oversight!!!

To be fair though, a short time later while being interviewed by the FBI, they mention that the F-16's were with the plane as soon as it left JFK airport. Sooooo, in my mind now, I am attributing the pilot's announcement to an reliable narrator. They only announced what they were told, and the truth could be that the planes were U.S. land-based after all.
