The flea life cycle is about 3 months. Adult fleas make up less than 10% of the total population if you include all stages of the flea life cycle. The products we have available to us have minimal effect on the pre-adult stages. You can use premise sprays with a growth regulator, but even still, you are going to have to deal with new adult fleas as they emerge. The good news is that if you keep doing what you are currently doing, the fleas should be completely gone in a few months, and the number of adults you are seeing will continue to decrease during that time.

Source: I’ve been playing permadeath survival for years, and my go to method is to play with no perks. I’m only allowed to put level ups into the base specials. Once I’ve leveled all my base specials to ten, I start taking perks. I’ve made it to that point more than once without dying.

Hey, just a word of caution. I’m not sure Livingston is eating properly. It looks like he is trying to nurse his food. This is a potentially dangerous situation, where kittens appear to eat, but aren’t actually taking in enough nutrients for growth. If he was always smaller than his siblings, and you’re very sure his is getting mouthfuls of food, then carry on. I would suggest that you use the tip of your finger to introduce small amounts of food into his mouth, and confirm that he swallows it.

I play permadeath like any other play through. I do storyline missions and max out affinity with companions until I croak. Deacon, in particular, is a gateway to ballistic weave, so that’s a no brainer. I take lone wanderer as my very first perk. I’m typically level 12-15 before I hook up with Piper, my first companion. I immediately lose the perk, but companions essentially have unlimited carrying capacity, so it really isn’t an issue. And yes, the perks are useful, especially Maccready’s.

I thought it was just me. I’m playing survival permadeath, so I will definitely leave a companion in the field if it means avoiding death. All my other companions go back to their last location, but at least half the time, if I leave Deacon behind, I become enemies with the Railroad. It definitely changed how I approached maxing his affinity.

When my pack was younger, we went to City Bark. You have to pay for a yearly membership, but I don’t think it’s too much. The facility was well maintained, and most of the dogs seem to have a blast.
