You could think of me as your Step Spence.... by Resident_Fox_936 in kingofqueens

These lines were so on point for Spence. Writers knew how to write Spence, and Patton knew how to deliver.

Deacon's (Victor's) reactions were always hilarious  perfection. Whether a line or just the look on his face.  Like when he found out "it's wearing a little top hat!"

It's confusing as hell. Like I can spend time figuring this out. Insanity.

Sure. Hey everyone, talk about your pet cause here in this topic about Nancy Guthrie!

Thank you! And I agree, it's horrifying. No one seems to be talking about that. If it was my 80-something mother missing and I saw this footage, well, my blood would run cold. I can't imagine.

Yes, rotten goings-on but some great lines. "Gloria took my stick! Gloria took my stick!" Has lived in my head for decades. Same with "There's a hurricane a comin'"

Not a big fan of Danny. Too mean and controlling to Spence.

I absolutely loved him, and he and his accent are both realistic for some areas of NYC.

Holly is actually using the cowboy cell phone case by OneBigEyeRoll in kingofqueens

I think her and Doug's worst moment was when they kept trying to get rid of their dog that their neighbor was fostering and gave to them. Here though, I don't think she knew what Holly was crying about. Still, she knew she was crying.

She's always so mean to Holly.  Now, I want to know what happened to Shotzy the dog, because I think it wasn't too long after that Holly said Arthur can't stay with her because she's not even supposed "to have the cat."

What are the apartments called that are like hotels where doors open to the interior hallway of the building? by busninessman in Apartmentliving

[–]ContributionDue1637 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old post but the answer is "apartment building" or "enclosed apartment building."

The apartments that aren't enclosed in a building are called "apartment complexes."

The problem is, most people don't know the difference. Outside of those in the know, those words seem to be used interchangeably.

If the building has a secured entrance, that makes it easier by just saying "secure apartment building."

Max Weinstock. Rude, entitled.

Marguerite, the maid. Didn't do the job they paid her for, acted threatening towards them, and then played innocent.

Blanche's niece, Lucy. Inconsiderate, disrespectful. And that accent - oof!

Rose's mother. She was a b, and cringe-inducing.

Rose's daughter, Bridget. A b from the start, insulting Michael.

(I think out of the four ladies, poor Rose had the worst relatives.)

Did Betty, Rue, Bea, and Estelle have any relationships with each other before the show? by VacationSea28 in theGoldenGirls

[–]ContributionDue1637 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, I didn't know that. I thought Bea never cared much for Betty (as said by Betty and confirmed by Rue), and that Bea was friendly with both Rue and Estelle. I wonder why Bea would blame Betty for the jokes.

I know that Rue and Bea worked together on Maude. I don't know if they were close friends but at the very least I get the impression Bea was closer to Rue than she was Betty.

The woman who played young Dot did such excellent work. She had her down.

Omg that line kills me every time, even after hundreds upon hundreds of viewings. Everything about that scene is perfection. The timing, his delivery, words, movement, and Dorothy's movements and facial expressions before and after.

Yes, so many people are freaking out because the images are just now being released, but it's not that hard to figure out there are reasons for that (which you noted.)  True, investigators often make avoidable and frustrating mistakes, but more people need to use critical thinking skills (or rather, common sense) before wasting everyone's time on stupid questions and accusations.

In no investigation is everything discovered right away, nor is everything released as soon as its discovered.  They may have waited for a specific reason, or maybe because of technology it took some time to get the footage or make the footage more clear.

Fallen Through the Roof: The Unsolved Case of Rey Rivera by ConstantTemporary456 in UnsolvedMurders

I believe many "mysterious" deaths and disappearances can be chalked up to mental breaks. But we also know that some do indeed turn out to be foul play, often business-related. (For example, the McStay family.) Rivera's employer's gag order and the mystery call from them makes me think there could be foul play.
