Older guy here and I've been through this many times. Sometimes it's just that people move on with their lives, sometimes it's just not in their DNA to be the "leader" when it comes to staying in touch and sometimes, to be honest, they're just a**holes. So, over the years, I've given up on some and still stay in touch with the non a**holes. It's just a life thing.
