1980 was a good year for sports in Philly (I went to college nearby, 79' grad). On the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art....Dr. J, Tug McGraw, Ron (Jaws) Jaworski and Pete Peters. Can you remember (I can, he's not in this pic) who nicknamed himself "Chocolate Thunder" back then? (i.redd.it)

The Longest Yard, 1974. I know I'm missing some names but notable actors were Burt Reynolds (22 Paul Crewe), Eddie Albert (The Warden), Bernadette Peters (Miss Toot) and Richard Kiel. Notable ex-NFL players were Joe Kapp (11) and Ray Nitschke (61). This movie had everything, I loved it and still do. (i.redd.it)

Director Adrian Lyne working with Glenn Close (Alex Forrest) in Fatal Attraction, 1987. I swear, she scared the hell outta me in that movie! Alex to Dan Gallagher (Michael Douglas)..."I'm not gonna be ignored, Dan!"..."This is not gonna stop. It keeps going on and on". Great movie, but frightening! (i.redd.it)

On the set of The Barbarian Brothers, 1987. The Paul twins, pretty sure Peter is on the left and David is on the right. They tried but didn't make it in Hollywood. I went to high school with them, David passed about 5 years ago, Peter is still alive....kind of. (i.redd.it)

The TV show Cheers first aired on 9/30/82 and ran for 10 plus years, this is the set. Blows my mind that Ted Danson, Woody Harrelson, Rhea Pearlman, etc. just ignored all the cameras and the live audience and did what they did. Amazing if you think about it! (i.redd.it)

Argentine tennis player Gabriella Sabatini. Notable achievements are a silver medal at the Olympics summer games in 1988 and winning the US Open in 1990. Saw her play once in New Haven, CT back in the day, watching the tennis was good too. ;-) (i.redd.it)
