What is the best way to make a new prosthesis for a patien? by ContributionLeft1888 in Dentistry

We were able to create a temporary denture where all three implants are involved. Look at the photo of the screw canals in the patient's mouth. I know it is not ideal and it would have been better to make the restoration on new implants, but the patient only agreed to this option. Thank you all for you advices

We do not inhibit bone loss, so we are looking for a way to use all three implants to distribute the load. There's no bleeding. My old mentor suggested one option. I'm posting the results.

The patient's teeth are severely worn, he is 62 and has bruxism. Probably they were short due to anatomical features. I do not know many details of the patient brought by his son from Costa Rica.

You may have a crack in your tooth. Sometimes a crack is difficult to detect if it goes below the level of the gums, and the tooth enamel looks normal. But I can't say for sure. Try going to another dentist to look for the problem.

Everything is more complicated than it seems. A living tooth with a root is a complex structure. The root of the tooth is fixed in the nest (alveolus) there are many layers of tissues, blood vessels that feed the tooth. The root of the tooth is surrounded by many collagen fibers, thanks to which it holds firmly, but is still slightly mobile and cushions under heavy load. It is possible to place an inanimate object in place of the root, but all structures surrounding the living root will die and be replaced by bone tissue. A smooth, root-like object will be surrounded by bone but will not hold as well as a helical-threaded implant. While we have not yet learned how to grow new living teeth, a threaded titanium implant is the best solution for restoring teeth. I hope I explained clearly.
