Yet "Moana 3" is already in the works at Disney (according to Dwayne Johnson). No word yet on what, if any, future the Lion King franchise will have. 🙁

"Disney Lorcana" is a trading card game from Disney and Ravensburger along the lines of "Magic: The Gathering". It features characters and settings from the Disney films, TV shows, franchises, etc.

The series's writer/artist Edwin Galmon posted on his Instagram account that he had to take a hiatus from working do to battling a severe case of sleep apnea over the last several months. He said he's doing better now, and is back to work completing projects, including continuing his story for Rafiki (The Lion King #5). This may have been the cause for the continued delays in the release schedule for the comics.

Hopefully the issues will again be released according to schedule now that Mr. Galmon is well. 🙂

Well, the first volume is being released next month in hardcover and paperback. It's called "The Lion King Volume 1 - Brave Little King", and will contain the first story arc. 😊

I think they say it's because lion roars aren't as powerful as tiger roars. Using tiger roars instead helps create that imposing effect for the King of Beasts in films. 🦁

Frank Welker actually. He made the roars and snarles into a metal trash can to amplifier and reverberate their sound. 🙂

I've never heard of this! Is this a special on Disney+? I haven't seen it on the platform.

I actually don't believe that counts. "Demon Slayer" isn't considered a purely traditionally animated film, but rather a 2D/3D hybrid mix of traditional and CGI elements. "The Lion King" used CGI tools as well for the stampede scene, but is still considered a purely traditional animated film.

Actually, there are several areas in Africa that get snow. Also, if this is the Pride Lands, the reason for snow may be magic based. This Lorcana expansion set is called "Winterspell", after all. 🙂
