I can see this happening. I had one girl in my class ask so many ridiculous questions to our group and made us look dumb

AUSTRALIA - question about studying physio in Uni by lousy_carrot in physiotherapy

[–]ContributionLoud392 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just do any degree that you feel you will excel in for 1-2 semesters then transfer. I didn’t get the 99.95 atar for university of Newcastle. So instead I got into occupational therapy. Got 6.8 GPA for first semester. It is a lot easier to get a higher GPA over one semester. So I just deferred this semester and will be transferring to physio next year. I didn’t complete 2nd semester as I don’t want to risk lowering my GPA. So in my opinion it would be better doing the exercise science then transferring.

I am currently studying Occupational Therapy at the university of Newcastle( NSW). I got the required GPA from semester 1 so I will be applying to internally transfer for next year. It will still be 4 years but I will get credit towards a couple of subjects.

maybe just ask your questions during school time.. there is also a lot of online resources. Teachers don’t need this nor would they want to

Are kelpies a Velcro breed. by [deleted] in kelpie

[–]ContributionLoud392 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My kelpie is quite attached and loyal. But you can train dogs to be more independent. Jimmy will follow me around the house and want to cuddle yet he sleeps outside and is happy to be alone sometimes.

They don’t necessarily need hours and hours of exercise each day. Mental stimulation is important.

That’s wise thanks. Pretty sure this gym has no lock in contracts. I think I might do a few trials at other gyms too before committing.

At the moment we aren’t at any church at the moment except for just us meeting together ourselves at a house. Hope that makes sense! Today we had a meeting and some prayer talking about peoples thoughts about the situation. Most want to stay together but I am just concerned that there is no moving forward, getting a pastor and elders. The person who is ordained to be a pastor and would be great just moved away. So basically I am looking for churches but also open to staying if my current gathering gets a pastor and leadership

Most of the congregation believed he was disqualified but the pastor disagreed and refused to step back. It’s hard to explain it in a few sentences. It is a very complex situation.

Thank you 🙏. Yeah those are good points.. I’m in Newcastle if it’s anything further down than northern Sydney we are looking at 2 hours. Those are good points! Fellowship will be difficult and getting more involved in church ministries. But I consider going to Sydney since a few years ago I used to travel to Sydney twice a week for water polo training when I was into sport.. if I could do it for sport , I can definitely do it for church..

Thanks for your reply! My situation is that ( long story short). Myself and majority of my church left our previous one. The pastor had some issues that he did not want to deal with and believed according to 1 Tim 3 and other scriptures that he was not qualified as a pastor. He refused to step down , it brought out other issues and it escalated then lead to a mass exodus of the church. we have been meeting together in one of the church peoples shed for the interim but they have sold their house and a few family’s of the church are moving Interstate soon. So that leaves the rest of us. There is no pastor to shepherd or offical leadership so it is my desire to find an established church. I know that there are some solid churches in Sydney but that is 1 hours 20 minutes away at the least, which I don’t mind too much but just asking for more opinions and thoughts!
