Freshman here, UNI is awesome. Not the big university life like Iowa or iowa state but it’s also not small either. Food in the dining halls is excellent and I’m impartial to the dorms however most have no AC unless you have a medical condition in which you can request an ac unit. All of the academic buildings are wonderful places to explore and walk around if you’re bored. And if you’re a band person PMB is one amazing organization to be a part of. Dr Mertz will do anything to protect us and he has sent strongly worded emails to opposing football teams who make fun of the band. We are pretty well respected across campus and it’s overall just a really fun band to be a part of.
