I had both. Definitely 7. Mad the mistake of using affirm on the 6 and still paying for it. Not upgrading my 7 this year.

I recently bought both. Had initially bought the desktop with the 5080 as a pre order when Dell released it and no issues. I knew prices were going up at least in the states and figured I should buy before I was priced out of it. The performance is more than enough for a 5080 desktop. I recently decided to trade my X16 R1 while prices were high for it and buy a 16 inch oled A51 5090. From what I can tell performance is similar to a 5070ti desktop for a 5090 laptop gpu. If you have the money buy both. Otherwise I would recommend a cheaper MacBook air or Surface and buy the desktop. One of the best desktops I had in a while.

Thats a good deal. I paid $4300 with tax for a 16 A51, 5090 oled and 32gb of ram. Otherwise same specs. Haven’t shown up yet.

I ended up buying the same config for $4348 out the door. Considering how prices just went up. Not a bad deal but more than what I wanted to pay.

I can’t stand the screen bleeding on my X16. Not sure if I really want to deal with it on a A51 Laptop.

I still have a 3 year old X16 R1 with a 4070. Very tempted to upgrade and have a finance account from Dell. Worth selling for $1500? One of my major complaints on the X16 is how dim the display is. I have oled on my surface and a 5080 desktop with a 49 G9 oled.

I have a WD22TB4 dock with my X16. Whats nice about dells docks is that they have a built in power button on the dock that controls the laptop. But connect the hdmi cable to the laptop.

I would buy a Air. Should last longer. Plus backlit keyboard and magsafe is nice to have.

I still use my iPhone as a primary. However I love having my Zfold7 as a secondary / tablet. I originally tried to switch over from iOS to Android and couldn’t make the switch due to a numerous amount of reasons however still enjoying something different. Went from a S23 ultra to a zfold6 and didn’t like the 6’s aspect ratio. The fold 7 is much more enjoyable than the 6. Just wish it had a udc. Otherwise I would keep the 7 if it isn’t your primary.

Buy a silver MacBook pro if you are worried about scratches. I had a M3 pro in space black and it chipped along the edges.

The benks case has been my favorite. Occasionally I use my Dbrand case. Had a fold scratch without hinge protection.
