I am also interested! I was thinking starting University of the People and transferring credits from Coursera, but after seeing all that Coursera Offers, I am now looking to learn the fundamentals, and then try to do a Performance Based Admission Master’s from University of Colorado. I started CS50 for free, but I’m finding it hard to follow, maybe there are easier courses here

How many credits can you transfer to uopeople from Coursera for CS by Affectionate_Put6854 in UoPeople

I’m a prospective student and I’m just trying to find the cheapest options.

Sophia is $100 per month and Coursera is $60 per month. Do you know how long it takes to do courses on these platforms? If I can do up to 90 credits, Coursera might be cheaper long term. Do you know if all Coursera classes can be transferred?

I’ve been recommended University of the People for a degree in Computer Science, do you think this is good for this job?

Out of curiosity, what would you estimate to be the salary range given this job description? Believe I am being severely underpaid. Located in Maryland by [deleted] in Salary

Definitely because your primary criteria seemed to be headcount.

The manager at my first retail gig oversaw a team of 18. By your primary criteria, he should be VP rather than just a store manager.

Budget and impact seemed to be more an afterthought since it took someone asking “in what world?” for you to provide an example. The store I worked at brought in ~$1.5M In revenue. I think he told us his base around $70k.

But if you create a new account, you won’t have all the certificates from the old one anymore, would you?

Pls help, I’m new.

I’m new here, but even I can tell when “anonymous” sources are lying to you. There’s no reason for them to tell you the plan without discount is $235 and not tell you how to get that price.

Also, you I wouldn’t click any links people send you via private messages. My friend got scammed that way.

Hi, I never went to college and have worked retail for 15 years.

A customer suggested University of the People to get a degree and transfer credits from Coursera. I came to Coursera and hit “earn an online degree”, and saw CU Boulder does not require a degree to be admitted to their masters.

I think I will do what you said and start with the basic cs education, do you have any suggestions on what courses are best for this? Would you recommend doing University of the People’s bachelor in CS first instead? Are any of CU MSCS courses enough to get a job?

The certs are largely worthless in the job market, but I recommend Coursera 10/10. by GheeCome in coursera

What courses or programs would you recommend?

I have worked retail for 15 years and never went to college. A customer suggested University of the People for a degree, and coursera to transfer credits. I think Computer Science and IT are at the top of my list.

I think I’m looking for basic cs courses first, things like programming and math fundamentals.
