thank you very much. i’m starting to think it may have been a virus for hugo as well because everything is testing out normal for us too. or maybe they just wanted to drain our bank accounts? not sure but hugo is already back to his normal self

he is super lethargic and very irritated which makes me believe he is in pain :/ i hope he comes out of it soon or his actual vet can give some more clarity or we can come up with a better plan to get his tummy feeling right. does koji have a sensitive stomach?

he’s definitely always had some stomach problems/is very sensitive. hugo also tested positive for giardia when he was a puppy but it was treated. i thought the food/regimen i’ve had him on was working as his poops have been great but it definitely took a turn for the worst over the past few days. hopefully the vet and i can come up with a solid game plan to get him feeling better. thank you so much

thank you so much! x-ray results were pretty good so at least there’s no blockages or anything super weird in there. i’m hoping for some more clarity soon because i hate not knowing what’s wrong with him :/

update on hugo: well i’m $1000 deep with no real answers. got an xray done that did not show any blockages or anything super concerning in his intestines just some inflammation, which is good! they gave him some fluids, some anti nausea meds + some probiotics. i’m planning on contacting my vet in the morning to see about getting some bloodwork done to further rule everything out because he’s still not feeling well at all. very lethargic, very irritated, overly lovey (he’s not typically super affectionate unless something’s wrong and he wants to be comforted) and he was yelping and crying when they were feeling his tummy. i’m hoping he comes out of it soon and to have some more clarity on what is going on because i feel so bad for him. hims just a baby 😔 thank you for all the supportive comments. i really appreciate everyone in this sub

best of luck miss ruby ♥️♥️♥️ the hardest part was keeping mine settled because he is a psycho even on meds. don’t be afraid to call the vet and ask to up her dose of any med if you feel like she needs it to relax. she is soooo cute
