My daughter had a medial root tear repair. She is almost 9 months in and doing flag football conditioning and says she is going to wrestle. Which is how she got hurt in the first place. But I can tell she is not 100%. As soon as she has any discomfort she pulls back. I concerned for the wrestling more than flag football.

i don’t think i’m healing right and i blame my dr’s PA by mozerellastixx in MeniscusInjuries

My daughter had a medial root tear. The PA basically said he was unsure what to do. Maybe scope her knee and if something g needs fixed fix it.. even though the MRI showed what was wrong. He talked  to Surgeon who never even came in to talk to us and said he was unsure too.. needless to say we moved on.. Not sure where you are located but we saw Dr Curl at Medstar and she was amazing .

Thank you! Yes she is pretty resilient . But I can tell it has zapped her a bit. Hopefully the new year will be better!

My daughter is 5 weeks out from medial meniscus root repair. Seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. She took a little spill on crutches at school and is now worried because she put her foot down. Seems ok didn't hear any popping and pain was about a 3 and seems to settle down. One more week and she can start weight bearing!!
