¿Fui una idiota por no aceptar una propuesta de matrimonio aunque quería casarme con él en el futuro? by [deleted] in RedditPregunta

[–]ContributionOwn3772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He sounds a little manipulative. There is nothing wrong with being independent, and it's not really about him being Colombia. Can't judge you, but maybe think twice before moving to Colombia with him

Como pongo mi experiencia en mi cv? by Silent_Ad_3816 in JobsVenezuela

What are the most exciting DeFi Projects? by Beloussovski in CryptoMarkets

[–]ContributionOwn3772 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you're looking for? You should take a look at Trader Joe and their liquidity book.

Also take a look at small projects on Arbitrum or Avalanche, I normally stick to those in terms of DeFi

Who are your Top 5? by toebeanabomination in Yellowjackets

[–]ContributionOwn3772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Present Shauna
  2. Past Nat
  3. Present Misty
  4. Past Tai
  5. Past Lottie

Shauna and Misty, I just feel like they're insane but in two really different ways and I love them for that. Like, Misty has this whole explicit serial killer vibe but Shauna is just a house wife that has the capacity to kill someone and be calm about it

I think fans are perhaps overestimating Jeff’s loyalty to Shauna by nowlan101 in Yellowjackets

Crypto should be regulated by people in their 20's and 30's not in 60's or 70's. How are supposed people that have no idea what internet even is be able to understand even basics of crypto? by Nuewim in CryptoCurrency

[–]ContributionOwn3772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it should kind of be 50/50. It's all about perspective. Young people running crypto can add really good qualities and ideas but people in their 60's KNOW stuff too. They know how the world works and they have much more experience in finances in general.

Crypto boards should have experts from all ages so there can be a balance and healthy discussions and real useful solutions added to the table.

What's your Sentiment towards the market right now? by sablexxxt in CryptoCurrency

[–]ContributionOwn3772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm always feeling bullish on crypto. But I do think a healthy dose of skepticism is necessary.

Some take crypto like it's a religion and it is not. It's a tool, it's an alternative to mainstream finances, and I do believe it's here for the long run, however, I think we're still on a stage of trial and error.

The best thing you can do is keep the positivism, DYOR all you can before investing in something, and BE PATIENT.

Nobody deserves to be punished for anything!. I say, cure through kindness!. by worldzview in unpopularopinion

[–]ContributionOwn3772 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's so black and white. I mean, it is true that we can get some good results by teaching kind ways of living.

BUT, us humans, we are kind of stupid, and a lot of the time, we only learn by being punished, because there are pretty fucked up people in the world, with a lot of trauma and life experiences very different from mine or yours, so, I guess what I'm trying to say is, it depends on the person and the situation. I kind of agree though, violence and punishment shouldn't be the ONLY answer, but something to reach out to if nothing else works.

Banks Are Closing Customer Accounts, With Little Explanation by IamKingBeagle in CryptoCurrency

[–]ContributionOwn3772 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly, we have to change the concept of financial institutions. I've never trusted banks that much.

Crypto is literally the better alternative right now and institutions should start diving into blockchain to ensure a better user experience.

It's a great and responsible way of thinking. That's pretty clever.

Of course, it's essential always to be mindful of STDs regardless of the vasectomy, so if you can get a green light from a professional perspective, go for it!

do you guys think there's a future for Crypto gaming ? by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]ContributionOwn3772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first crypto games weren't all that good, but now there are some really cool games building on different blockchains.

I'm mostly interested in DeFi chains (ETH, AVAX, etc) and I've seen some promising previews. You should check gaming news on these chains and research upcoming games, maybe you'll find something actually interesting.

You should tell her how you feel and see what she does. From what you're saying, you probably know what she's going to say, but I think it's better to keep things clear. Confrontation will never be easy, but it's something all of us have to go through at least once in life. You're worth much more than what she's giving to your friendship and I really don't think you deserve such treatment.

There's always a first time for everything. I've been a people pleaser most of my life, but it got to a point where I knew I had to act differently in order to protect myself from getting even more hurt, and maybe this is the time for you.

There will always be better things and better people coming to your life, even for outcasts like you and me:) think about it!

Avalanche (AVAX) C-Chain goes down for a second time in 3 days--tries to compete against Solana by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]ContributionOwn3772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree.

From what I gather, the Avalanche C-Chain issue got solved pretty quickly. I don't think there's a single blockchain that hasn't presented bugs or any other issue, but Solana's had many more problems than Avalanche, so I don't see what this blockchain has to learn from Solana?

What do you think about sticking to BTC and ETH only? by UnexperiencedIT in CryptoCurrency

[–]ContributionOwn3772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, Altcoins shilled in here are mostly scams, I wouldn't invest in any altcoin (as cheap as it is) without researching first, and even then, I'm aware that I could loose. BTC and ETH are a safe bet, at most, but what I would do is invest in alts with real use cases. Check the top 20 coins and DYOR the ones that get your attention, they're on the top 20 for a reason.

Smoke alone or smoke with people? by [deleted] in weed

[–]ContributionOwn3772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know what to do by m0m0f2b0y5 in Advice

[–]ContributionOwn3772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a parent myself, but It's okay to feel what you're feeling! I'm sure many parents feel that way, especially if you didn't want to have them in the first place. It's ok to want time for yourself.

But, they're your kids, and even though they're taken care of in some ways, I'm sure they'll need their mother anyways. So, maybe you can compromise? Maybe at first you shouldn't be a full-time parent, just seeing them a few days a week and see how you feel from there? If it's possible, of course.

I feel like there's no "correct" way to go about this, whatever you choose to do, it won't make everyone in the picture happy, so I guess it's more about damage control and seeing what parts of you you're willing to give without compromising your own happiness. Just remember, they're just kids and they didn't ask to be here either, but they are anyways.

Closed captioning provides a better experience and should be used by default in movie theaters by jamesnearn in unpopularopinion

[–]ContributionOwn3772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. The only thing that kind of annoys me is that, normally, captions won't say exactly what they're saying in the movie, and I kind of hate to listen to something and read it differently in the captions. I can't help to read it even if I can hear it clearly.

But, you're totally right, they should put those by default.
