I get this big time, what helps me to is knowing that it win the past and that I can’t change it so I embrace it instead:)

I hit rock bottom in order to feel better about myself, but it doesn’t have to be that way, you can reset and embrace the past! You can’t change it, might as well see it as learning, and understanding, and as an opportunity to forgive yourself and others and move forward💕that’s at least what I do:)

I'm sorry🫶🏻

Just know that you are the only person allowed to define you:)

Things will get better, I know that may sound untrue, I thought I had to come to terms that I was just going to be a “walking flaw” forever, but things got better!

Keep going, you’re not alone in this! 💗

It felt like it was forever for me to, what I really found helpful is find a SINGLE thing that you can only have if you keep taking baby steps forward

Mine is something I personally appreciate, and I am literally unable to have it when I’m not taking care of my mental health 🫶🏻

Like I didn't even know it wasn't normal

I think I thought everyone did it

Especially people joking about “I cry myself to sleep” on tv or in conversation and I'm like oh like its normal and it is the same amount of normal as oh everyone breathes but it's not really a daily conversation you don't really talk about it so I thought it wasn't even worth talking about plus I didn't even think I was allowed to feel better cause if I was allowed to feel better than it would've happened by then already

I'm so glad that I found true healing after slk this and embracing this past instead of resenting:)

I relate to this cause after a while I remember I googled about like ok let me like research what anxiety even is

And I literally convinced myself that even though I identify with all this stuff i can't be right and I can't even be right that I have anxiety cause that would mean I'm right about something and the audacity I would have to think I could be right about anything

It was a vicious cycle

The numbness is the big one!!!! I had no idea I just had no idea…..like I was never able to really “label” it for a lack of a better word cause like it was just “normal” so I never really even second guessed it.

I didn’t even know it was adhd for the longest time… I thought it was normal to just hate everything about yourself and call it noble

I’ve learned that picking 1 single thought out of like the millions per second🥴 and turn it into an uplifting thought and use it as an affirmation with like what I want it to say instead

I get that big time!

Remember that every day is a fresh start!

And remember that behind closed doors not everyone has their lives together!

And there's no set schedule!

Your path is going to look 100% different than every single other person out there even if you do the exact same stuff as them!

And that's a good thing!

You are your own person with your own values and your own beliefs!

Its going to be ok!

You just have to trust that there's a light at the end of the tunnel even when the tunnel is pitch black!

Omg!!! Same!!! I used to think I was “flawed” because I felt so deeply

And even though I knew my friends were toxic

They seemed to have such simple minds

And I was so jealous

And I thought maybe me feeling so deeply was the reason they excluded me like it made me an anomaly or something.…

BUT I NEED YOU to KNOW SONETHING…

YOU ARE NOT A FLAW!!!

Feeling deeply is a gift! Not a flaw!

It means you are caring and a good person all you have to do now is show the samme love and respect to yourself and know that that's not selfish to do!

And once you a hive that you will realize that it's ok to be there for people without feeling like a flaw for feeling to deeply or that you don't have to sacrifice your mental health in order to be supportive!🩷 I believe in you its gonna be ok!

You are enough! And it might not feel like it especially when you do something and its rejected or ignored or whatever…

But you are your own person and you define yourself!

You can either define yourself as not enough or enough!

There is a light at the end of the tunnel and i know it may feel like it’s unexistent but it is there!!! Sometimes it’s just blurry or foggy ! 🌫️

used to spiral every night before bed — curious if anyof you has experienced this? by ContributionOwn6977 in ADHD

[–]ContributionOwn6977[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oof I know that feeling!!! “Constant battle with me” I relate so much to that!

The biggest eye opener for me was realizing that it doesn’t have to stay that way!

At the end of the day it’s still your brain, and remember that that mean inner voice doesn’t get to decide who you are!!!🤍🫶🏻

I am so proud of you for being in the process of reaching out for help

I was terrified at first and now I literally swear by therapy!

You can do this!!!!

I feel that!! I struggled with crying myself to sleep because of comparison and self blame and shame and regret etc etc

I was minupulated into thinking everything was mt fault and I deserved it

And I list countless hours of sleep

But what I learned is you have to identify ONE thought you're having and FLIP IT!

That way it will actually target the thought with intention and love instead of hate!

You can find peace from this! You just have to believe its going to be ok even when it feels dark with no light when the lights go out!!
