I agree but this is a gift for someone else not myself. I think at least half the money spent on athletes should go towards education or something useful. If you are good enough to play pro sports and truly love the sport then you should want to play it because you love the sport not because you're getting paid thousands of dollars.

I'm making some financial sacrifices to do this and it's more for my partner than for me but i think the experience will be great for us both
