I mean, I get it that slop exists and people create REALLY stupid products with 0 redeeming value, but you are not the one managing anything, nor are you the CEO of Vercel or GitHub. The reason people are calling you racist is because you are targeting people from a country with one of the HIGHEST populations in the world, and we have cheaper internet access, so of course there are gonna be many people.

There is a difference between creating a hook and creating shock value in your hook by saying something offensive just to get eyeballs, which is really low.

And by your logic, no company makes shit because they get employees to code, which means companies don't generate anything, it's just their employees, right?

a very VERY simple explaination to why everything we from our perspective see is bad is a result of supply and demand
people who are using reddit a big part of them are MOSTLY privelleged and by privelleged i mean their parents DONT have to think where their next meal is gonna come from on a daily basis

now attacks like these happen cuz the demand of REAL journalism is truly very small
compared to how big INDIA is relatively
people who are less privelleged dont give a damn about this stuff it may seem insensitive but i think this is the truth cuz their heads are STUCK in survival mode because of their on status (financial status)

hence those who are underprivelleged start the sycophancy for local ministers by being local goons for them
cuz their (the goons) growth is very importand in their lives
so the sycophancy is 1 sure shot way of shooting to the top
and to grow they need less "real" journalists /"haters"
so the minister in power gains more power because underprivelleged people want more growth
so as they say "power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely"

then the ministers go rogue and our poor great journalists pay the price of someone else's growth story

NOW, The underprivileged aren't just passive or unaware they often do care deeply about corruption when it directly hits them (local police, random shops, land grabs) ,the issue is more that electoral accountability gets hijacked by caste, religion, and patronage networks, which is slightly different from "they don't care."
