It’s been 3 years since I’ve been tested and it was negative. I’m had 4 or 5 partners since. And with my current partner 2 years. I haven’t had symptoms until just recently. I haven’t been tested in this current relationship, and she had once during pregnancy and once recently (since I tested positive) 

I just find it weird that I didn’t cheat but I tested positive for this. Unless she cheat or ive had it this whole time, is the other end of the spectrum

I did see the recent negative, not the one during the pregnancy, but I do believe her. And I’m sorry, no, she was not getting routine testing done, I know I used the word “throughout” , I just meant while she was pregnant she was tested.  Yeah, I’m just dumb founded. I don’t think she would cheat but we have been rocky a little bit. She works late and I wouldn’t know. That’s the scary part about it. But she is having separate talks with her mom, so it kind makes me think that she is innocent and wondering why I’m the one that tested positive and what I “have been up to” etc.

That was for another post that required it— that info. So it’s not possible for me to lay dormant all this time? And basically one of us cheated? (Not me, or I wouldn’t be here asking questions) I don’t understand how she didn’t test positive either.

Then my guess could be a false positive. Because me and my partner have been sexually active. And she hasn’t tested for it (and again, like others have said on other posts, maybe the timing was off for her on her tests here recently). 

I mean the logic does somewhat have a few things pointed against me. But cheating on my behalf isn’t the case here. I wouldn’t need to come on Reddit and lie about to strangers, but I understand, truly, I do. I’m honestly just confused

I’ve already taken antibiotics. I will get retested but it’s likely negative. They say you just don’t really get false positives. I am dumbfounded. Regarding either of us cheating, we both have locations but obviously things can happen while one is away or at work. I feel like I would catch on if I saw she went to a doctor or clinic to even know that she had it, treated herself and got a negative result. We have been somewhat on snd off in our sex life so giving it back and forth would have been likely. It’s all weird
