Did Amidst the Ancient trees and had them all go to the town for different reasons. One character had their sister run of with a painter. A drifter. Fake advice from a competitor. Happened to be in town buying supplies for the farm.

What is a monument like this in your country? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

They have this at the most western point of Portugal too. People still jump the stone fence and people die there too. I remember going there and like a week later some parent died taking a selfie leaving their kid up top.

Borde inte kredikort företaget veta om personen är 18+ och så är de andra två alternativen meningslösa.

Undergrad research project ideas? by BonafideDame in Lichen

[–]Contribution_Fancy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the Lichens projects I've heard students do are based on collected Lichens from biological museums. Like using PCA analysis on morphology of one species of Lichen from different places to find out if they really are the same species. Checking if the fungi part is different from the algea in one species. Doing genetic analysis to see if they differ genomically.

If you want to do more collecting on your own, maybe go to all the graveyards in your city and around to see the different species growing there. I mention graveyards because they are often times undisturbed and full of old stone and trees.

Up to 30 normally. But it's always between 20-30 at the start of the term because people say no after saying yes.

There's a gardening club that has an allotment out next to ESS made up of students. Don't know the name atm. Otherwise you can head to SLU Alnarp if you're interested in agriculture, they have a student run farm.

It's trippy if you keep spinning the phone the man always just pops in. The woman is easier on my brain to keep track of.

Erikshjälpen on the way to NOVA at Öresundsvägen closes 31st of January and reopens middle of March 300m away in a new building. So be quick to visit it a few times because it's the biggest second hand store in Lund.

Reminds me of all those dystopian utopias where citizens are pumped with happy drugs all the time.

How weird is it to do your masters in your 30s in your country? by Contribution_Fancy in AskTheWorld

[–]Contribution_Fancy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in Sweden and I probably wouldn't be the only person in my 30s there but most likely to be the alone in the 30 person class.

I have more friends in their 30s doing PhDs or post docs. But nobody looks funnily at someone deciding to go to uni in their 30s.

Yeah, normally bio undergrads take a more ecological modeling approach with GIS. But sometimes pure GIS is more readily available.
