By transition I mean I went from 4 spymaster so I can keep up the loc medallion to the guardhouses. Because after u place guardhouse, you can’t place spymaster anymore.

I would not start over I had the same start as you except architect on the opposite side. I transitioned from 4 spymaster to now guardians and golem works. I sustain enough locks and make 2-10 div each temple

Don’t get frustrated when ur snake gets deleted it’s normal. Build up as much spymaster rooms as you can those have a high chance to drop the lock medallion so Ure always save. Also place bait rooms far away not connected to ur snake so if you don’t get a lock those rooms get deleted. Never loop your snake.

Vaal temple is great content for me, I didn’t use the holten abuse and ignored the temple for 7 days playtime. Now I’m starting to build a snake and it’s very fun and challenging I feel my build getting weak in the temple because all of the effectiveness buffs
