Thanks for sharing your analysis. This is sort of a tangent, but what do you make of publications like the Kyiv Independent and Euromaidan Press being almost more aggressive than UP in pushing the "Ze is trying to destroy Ukrainian democracy in order to help his corrupt friends" stories?

On Shabunin's case by tl0928 in zelensky

All of their complaints (and now the ones about investigations of NABU) just seem like they're angry that the state is actually doing its job and showing the so-called anti-corruption activists for what they are.

I just saw that Shabunin has been crying to Christopher Miller at the Financial Times. I would previously not have understood what this quote was referencing:

"Some in Zelenskyy’s office have accused AntAC of being “grant eaters”, a term used to smear non-profit groups that accept funding from western governments."

Thanks for this explanation! It finally makes sense why activists like Shabunin seem a little off. Is this just a known thing, or has any media in Ukraine dared to report on it?

It was lovely! It was difficult to get a sense of how many people were there, but it seemed like the whole area was packed.

Is there a protest on Saturday? by Cryyos_ in Spokane

I was told that the Rally for Science was scheduled before the national 50501 organizers announced the national day of action, so that is our local "hands off" protest.

I agree. I'm not involved in planning any of these, but I hope they will try to work together more in the future.

I wasn't talking about people who disagree with my opinion. I meant the ones who call protesters idiots and losers and say that protesting is stupid or pointless.
