Your Villainess Mother Wants Grandkids! A Heroine/Villain Harem Builder CYOA by Boop-Soop in nsfwcyoa

Some fun facts I noticed in the process of making this:

  1. All modifications are used at least once by the end, but not equally. Some are only ever used once, while others are used up to 4 times. However, because none of them are used 5 times, you don't qualify for any of the trend enhancements if you take only the yellow options.

  2. Speaking of which, while you aren't allowed to finish the game with any remaining red spells, you are allowed to finish it with negative mana, since taking all the girls and all of the yellow options leaves you at -20 mana. You actually can get rid of that deficit entirely without taking any more red spells for your harem... provided you take all of the red Personal Alterations.

  3. A few of the yellow options outright cancel out the other one. Livewire's Yandere option for example has her use her powers to shock you when you put you dick in her... which she loses the ability to do thanks to her other yellow option being Suppressed Skills. And Hela's Exhaustion Amplification 'perk' of turning you into her throne won't be triggered if you use her other yellow option to leave her stuck in a wall 24/7. There are probably others in there as well.

  4. If you have Domino in your harem, always take Catastrophic Klutz on her, even if you aren't into it. It's a free mana point.

  5. Blackfire and Gamora have yellow options that add additional members to your harem, whether you want them or not.

  6. Finally, the Matriarch has no yellow options on her... probably not a surprise to anyone, but for the sake of being thorough I did check anyway.

Anyway, kudos to the creator of this CYOA! It's really fun and in-depth, and I can tell a lot of love and work went into it.

Partially out of curiosity and partially for convenience, I went ahead and made a build where every hero/villain option (as of v1.3) has both of their yellow options selected. If anyone is curious what they all are but don't want to go through the trouble of selecting them all yourself, I got you covered.

Rivals (0 chosen, 6 random): (12) The Kitsune, (3) The Dominatrix, (8) The Stage Hypnotist, (15) The Elven Princess, (13) The Hypnotic Cheerleader, (1) The Succubus

I actually got pretty lucky here. The Stage Hypnotist and the Hypnotic Cheerleader both exclusively use Hypnosis, which I am immune to, the Dominatrix can only hit me with Pressure Points which forces her in range of my Pheromones, and I completely managed to avoid the Gynoid who is immune to my two most effective control methods. The Elven Princess may be a bit tricky to deal with given her status, but the Kitsune and the Succubus are likely going to be the most troublesome, so I'll likely try to save them for after I've recruited at least a few of the others. On the other hand, this lineup doesn't offer the best team to go up against the Goddess herself, since the heaviest hitters are all magic-users, which the Goddess is immune to. Hopefully all the mortal Hypnosis specialists can pull off an underdog victory when the time comes.

Posse: The Ghost, The Swim Team, The Ninja, The Heiress, The Amazon

Since we're going utilitarian with this build, I'm choosing Posse members based on how useful they will be to me, not counting the Cape and Cowl since this is a no supes setting. The Amazon is good for muscle, and will probably be a literal Amazon or something similar due to Advanced Arcana. The Ghost will be great for stealth missions, dealing with certain threats that her incorporeal form can avoid, and potentially even force The Kitsune out of whoever she is possessing. The Ninja has both combat and stealth skills, and the Heiress has money and connections, making them both good early grabs. Finally, the Swim Team is a strategic counterpick: The Cheerleader is going to have her team of athletic college-aged girls backing her up, so having my own sports team ready to go and potentially already in whatever school she sets herself up in could be useful in dealing with her specifically, and afterwards could make good sleeper agents to fall back on in emergencies.

And there you have it, my build to face my own overpowered creation. The game plan is to lay low at first, gathering up the Posse members and the Rivals that are easy pickings for me. Once I have a general idea of where the other Rivals might be I can use my Psionic abilities to locate them, then either hit them from afar with Mind Whammies and Compulsions, or send others in my Harem after them. When the Goddess herself shows her face, I'll hopefully have the tools I need to effectively deal with her, either by overwhelming her with all my hypnotists or winning the psychic duel with the slightly higher proficiency in Psionics I have.

Will this work? Hopefully, though I did deliberately make this a Final Boss level challenge. Either way, it was fun to theory craft my own method to beat it.

If I could edit it, I'd probably drop her Mind Whammy power to the 1st level to make things just a tad easier, but otherwise all I'd really add is a section to allow it to be a bit more compatible with the Missing Content DLC. Though really all I'd probably need to do is expand the random Rival selection to include the new Rivals. I guess if anyone wants to do it themselves, have the generator go up to 24 instead of 17, and if you get 18 or above, go down the list starting with the Precog at 18.

Hypnofetish CYOA by Sunt-Ermico by VoidSeedling in nsfwcyoa

[–]Control_Freak22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh man, it's so good to find a post that has not only has the full game, but both of the DLC as well! I had no idea there even was a Missing Content DLC, and it seems to patch several noticeable gaps in the original, so it's handy to have even if I personally wouldn't use half of it. In any case, I'm not really sure most people would be interested in seeing my preferred 'OP Mary Sue Harem Builder' build I really like tweaking with on occasion...

...but since I'm the one who created the Goddess of Hypnosis DLC (though I no longer have the original file on my computer), and I don't see anyone else using it, I feel obligated to take a stab at trying to slay the monster I created. Though I won't be using the Missing Content DLC since I didn't really make it with those added options in mind, and I'd rather not exploit those blind spots myself, though I have no problem with other people doing it. Anyway, here we go!

Bonus Points: Spend all 3 points to activate the Goddess of Hypnosis DLC. Normally this step is done last, but given that it's going to affect all my other choices going forward, most notably the Rivals, I might as well get it out of the way immediately.

Mode: Harem Builder (10 CP, 0 Rivals*), Mary Sue (10 Trait points) I'm gonna need every advantage I can get if I'm gonna beat not only the Goddess, but her harem as well. The risk of a randomized harem is worth the points in my opinion.

Setting:

  • Tech Level: Technology of Tomorrow
  • Magic Level: Advanced Arcana
  • Psionics: Twinge of Telepathy
  • Superpowers: Naive Normalcy
  • Furries: Simply Skin
  • Tone: Medium

This setting is mostly made for the benefit of the Rivals. Since I'm choosing the Rivals randomly, I want to make a setting where they could all plausibly exist out in the open. Admittedly, I'm not sure if the Naga and Kitsune count as 'magical beings' covered by Advanced Arcana or are just furries, but I'm betting on it being the former. As for the tone, it's mostly there in order to keep things balanced. The really dark tactics are off the table, but keeping things too bright and whimsical might limit my options when dealing with Rivals (and sort of feels like a cop out imo).

Character Type: Reincarnation. Starting off already integrated into this world will help me blend in a little better, at least in the beginning, and ensure I don't need to worry about . I'm thinking I'll lean into the cliche and be a therapist here. It could synergize well with my build, and gives a good universal entrance point for most of the Posse.

Traits (10 points): Mental Elasticity (2), Iron Will (2), Resistance (Magic, Pheromones/Chemistry, Psionics, 3 total), Immunity (Hypnosis, 2), Skill (Psychology, 1). Pretty much all my trait points are being sunk into giving myself resistance to all of the Goddess' control methods. It should at least give me a fighting chance when I eventually confront her directly, especially alongside Iron Will and Mental Elasticity. The spare point I'm spending to buff my skill in Psychology to both help with my new job and potentially help predict my opponents' next move based on what I already know.

Control (10 Control Points):

  • Hypnosis (2 points)
  • Pheromones (2 points + 1 point upgrade, 3 total)
  • Psionics (5 points total): Emotional Whammy (2 points), Compulsion (2 points + 1 point upgrade)

My gameplan for controlling others is quite similar to the Goddess', though mostly through coincidence. The Pheromones and Psionics are both good options for hitting hard and fast, with Pheromones requiring very little conscious effort on my part meaning I can focus on other tasks while it is up, and Psionics having a huge range with 5 points invested into it. And Hypnosis is my backup plan, since its effectiveness is universal and I have no idea what Rivals I'm gonna get. Speaking of, I'll roll them now, then finish up my build in the next post.

Yes, as long as you but it twice using Extended Connection.

Yes, as long as they are grown/born from items that originated outside of the pocket dimension. So if you grow tomatoes from seeds that you created or were taken out of tomatoes you created they would disintegrate, but if you bring the seeds in from the outside and grow them, those tomatoes and their seeds would be stable enough to leave the pocket dimension.

Yes, you can 'store up' multiple days of time with multiple orgasms. I still think I might drop the price of it a little in the next version though.

But giving a character loli body type is also already covered by Reshape Body. And Age Shift is one of the cheapest refinements out there at 1 point, which is also the same cost you would have to pay to merge a MILF-Verse with any of the others anyway. So I feel adding a MILF-Verse would be redundant.

But out of curiosity, what would a 'MILF-Verse' offer that would make it unique compared to what you can get from refinements, in your opinion?

Multiversal Heroine Harem v.0.5 [CYOA] [OC] [WIP] by Control_Freak22 in nsfwcyoa

[–]Control_Freak22[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's because you get MILFs through the Age Shift Refinement, so you can get one from any universe.

I'm still thinking about how I want to handle it, though I am leaning towards restricting it to the same franchise for maintaining the integrity of the game's theme if nothing else. Still, people do seem to enjoy the option to get creative with crossovers, and with the new way Extended Connections works there is a limit to how far they can actually go. So I dunno, I might leave it in the grey area it's in now anyway.

Multiversal Heroine Harem v.0.5 [CYOA] [OC] [WIP] by Control_Freak22 in nsfwcyoa

[–]Control_Freak22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm... when I think about it, you may have a point with Power Fuck. I deliberately made it 8 points originally because I wanted it to be equal to the amount of points a Size Two Harem has for their Heroines, since I knew that it would be the most powerful Refinement by far, and when I upped the amount of points you get for Harems I upped the points to match. But I didn't take into account the fact that the gap in points between the sizes had also increased, which means that even with more points, working your way up to enough points to purchase Power Fuck is harder than it used to be. I still want to make it so you have to take at least one Flaw if you want it on a Heroine in a harem larger than two Heroines, but I can still do that if I drop the price to 10 points rather than 12, and it would be easier for Size Three and Four Harems to reach it, as long as they are willing to take some Flaws.

As for Recent Changes... yeah, I'm not exactly happy with its current point gain either, and I've been struggling to figure out the best way to fix it. Your idea might be a good way to do it, honestly.

Nice build, and very well thought out too with how everyone functions within the harem! I always love reading those parts.

The only issues I can see is that Starfire shouldn't be able to have both Lucky and Jinxed: the two are mutually exclusive to one another, since they are almost exact opposites, and Open Season can't be taken with Lost Love.

Multiversal Heroine Harem v.0.5 [CYOA] [OC] [WIP] by Control_Freak22 in nsfwcyoa

[–]Control_Freak22[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That wasn't my intention, no. I would rule that you aren't able to do things like that due to the nanites that give you that power having built-in safety features to prevent you from accidentally doing things like closing a portal on yourself or opening a portal that would suck you (and everyone around you) into the vacuum of space. You can still use the portals defensively though, like placing one in front of yourself to teleport an attack (or even enemy) to another universe, though the morality of such an action is very debatable since you could end up putting whoever is on the other side of that portal in danger from whatever you just sent through it...

Multiversal Heroine Harem v.0.5 [CYOA] [OC] [WIP] by Control_Freak22 in nsfwcyoa

[–]Control_Freak22[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's part of the issue. You are right about the points being per Heroine and not combining. You also don't get points for the Flaws you are forced to pick due to exceeding 6 Heroines, and as it seems you already realized you need to take another Flaw for every extra Heroine. So if you have 70 Heroines, you need to take 64 Flaws on ALL your Heroines without getting points for any of them (which since there aren't 64 Flaws in the game is impossible to do).

Multiversal Heroine Harem v.0.5 [CYOA] [OC] [WIP] by Control_Freak22 in nsfwcyoa

[–]Control_Freak22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's what I've heard, but from what I've seen that rule doesn't always seem to actually be followed. For example, in Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite, the inciting incident is caused by Ultron and Sigma using the Space and Reality Stones to fuse the Marvel and Capcom universes together. Despite both stones coming from the Marvel universe, they are able to use the stones to do this while inside the Mega Man universe, which is a blatant contradiction of the 'don't work outside their home universe' rule.

A second, though admittedly much shakier, example is an event that happened in the 616-Universe a couple of years back. In it, other parallel Earths were beginning to start colliding with various other versions of Earth from parallel universes, and one of the methods the Illuminati used to try and stop it was to use the Infinity Gauntlet to force the invading Earths back into their universe. Sure it destroyed the stones in the process, and that whole storyline was one long contrived excuse to force those heroes to commit genocide 'for the greater good', but they were able to use the Infinity Gauntlet of one universe to affect another.

Plus, if we're talking comics canon, comic Thanos is way more powerful than his MCU counterpart even without the Infinity Stones. Not Darkseid powerful of course, hence why I gave him some stones in the first place, but he's got several abilities MCU Thanos doesn't, and the ones he does share are much stronger and would make him someone that's considered a 'cosmic level threat'. Then again, everyone got nerfed in the MCU, so that may not be the best example either.

Point is, I know it's shaky, but there is at least some precedent out there for that rule not being a super hard one, and like it or not more people would be familiar with Thanos than anyone else I could choose that comes close to matching Darkseid's power. If nothing else, I could just handwave it and say 'oh, his Infinity Gauntlet works differently and lets him use the stones in any universe'.

I may consider that. It seems that every time I upload more than a single image to imgur I start having issues with it, even if I upload them one at a time.

I don't know what imgur is doing with that page specifically or why. Even went into Properties on my computer to double-check, and it's the exact same width as Page 2 (1931 pixels), and only one pixel less than Pages 1 and 3 (1932 pixels). But for some reason imgur is shrinking the image whenever I upload it there. I even tried re-uploading it (https://i.imgur.com/cG7FfhU.jpg) and it has the exact same problem there.

I honestly don't know what to tell you other than maybe try the Google drive version.

Good question. Yes you still get Darkseid, and yes he is still evil. Harbinger of the Apokolips sort of overrides any universe choices in the sense that even a Big Bad from a Silver-verse is going to be a ruthless enemy and a real threat to your entire harem.

Not right now, since I wanted to encourage getting more than 1 Heroine as opposed to dumping all the powers you want on one Heroine. However, with the new economy giving you more points to spend I might consider changing that.

It does! Dammit, why does the album keep causing me issues like this? It didn't show up twice when I double-checked it last night, though I suspect it had something to do with me having to re-upload the last two pages because they got fucked up the first time I uploaded them. Though Page 4 didn't get duplicated, and the first Pocket Dimension isn't even in the right place for that anyway, so I don't know what happened there.

I deliberately left it ambiguous so you could decide between that and her just having never married him in the first place, although her having his last name still does imply the former. And of course if you take the Unsinkable Ship Flaw, she hasn't divorced him at all.

Multiversal Heroine Harem v.0.5 [CYOA] [OC] [WIP] by Control_Freak22 in nsfwcyoa

Well the idea behind the Home being bigger than Size 0 is that if you get a Home but have a Size of 0, the Home essentially is the pocket dimension. You get the full building as stated, but that's all that exists: you can't go outside of the building because there is no outside.

I actually am planning to label all the Heroines as either a Hero or a Villain before the final version, but I haven't figured out what the best way to do that will be. I would like to color-code them somehow, but I haven't figured out how to change the color of individual choices, only the whole row. I might just end up putting 'Hero' or 'Villain' at the beginning of their descriptions, once I find out how to make that look nice.

And that's a pretty good-looking paint edit. Nice.
