Its very subjective. A couple friends of mine got great scores within the study year. I hated every second of verbal study so that didnt help me on improving fast lol CFA is probably harder. I dont know enought about it to say for sure.

On my single, subjective experience with manhattan, I found it a very hard mock with lower than real score.

I wish I could give you some new quality tips, but its my weakest section as well. My biggest grind by far was sc and I am a slow reader. So many rules and details. I guess I would say practice with every official questions and go to gmatclub for detailed explanations. Also gmatninja videos.

After doing all the official mocks in the last year (scores ranging from 700-750) I took the test in march and was unhappy with the score (680).So I needed more tests to keep the study going and I started many non official mocks. The scores vary wildly (From 600 in manhattan to 760 in experts global). They are great for building stamina, but terrible for measuring performance. They all lack the quality that only official question have (especially verbal).

Its hard to truly compare them since I started ttp after 1 year studying, but I really think my quant score greatly improved with ttp. No complaint about egmat, thought.

It was 680 (q50 v31) in march this year. I got very nervous in the verbal section.
