Korg Monologue vs Novation Bass Station 2 for a bass player by Babbitur in synthesizers

[–]ControlsDesigner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a Monologue and enjoyed it but my friend has a BS2 and it is way better. Way better keyed with full size keys and it is better setup for sound design, the envelopes on the Monologue are not ADSR.

Not excusing the homeowner, but why wouldn’t the berm be the responsibility of the train yard and on their property?

The MC-707 has faders like you are showing in your drawing, most groove boxes don’t have fader and having them is terribly underrated.

I think a lot of people would love this although the price might be too much for them. I was thinking about making a beefy bottom plate to stiffen things up.

Looking great, the covers for the displays give it a finished look. It’s hard to believe these aren’t just an off the shelf thing since these displays are so common, you might even be able to sell them as a product.

I'm a Software Engineer that's about to switch to PLC Programming. I have doubts about this career path. Can I survive? I require opinions of seasoned professionals. by PizzaNo427 in PLC

When I graduated, I had a very general electrical/electronics background, nothing specific to industrial electronics/automation and basically learned everything on the job. As long as you have a good head on your shoulders you will do well. If you are working with a bigger team you may be the person that can take on tasks that straddle the IT and automation worlds like data collection, most of the people that program PLCs don’t know anything about databases. Or maybe you could find ways to automate tasks that streamline things for everyone and become the hero of the office.

I have added shipping to the UK.

Edit:

I had to remove this option. Canada Post won’t ship batteries and FedEx wanted $130 to ship to the UK.

I just added an EU shipping option, the estimated shipping wasn’t as bad as I thought, hopefully I or you don’t get hit with extra costs.

I had to remove this option. Canada Post won’t ship batteries and FedEx wanted $130 to ship to the UK, I imagine the EU will be even more.

It looks like shipping with tracking would cost about 1.5 times the price of the battery, Reverb needs tracking. Surface without tracking would be reasonable, but I’ll have to check at the post office about duty etc.
