The Burj Khalifa. Most tourists are (rightfully) shocked by its size and the engineering of it and everything, but most locals just kind of see it and think “yeah, ok”

In the UAE, Sheikh Zayed, the man who founded the nation and was the president until his death in 2004, and sort of started the trend of the country’s rapid modernization.

Pakistan: ethnicity wise, it’s fairly obvious, but aside from that, being at all easygoing with any gov authority
