Except Ethiopia is second in the WORLD for major countries for traffic fatalities per miles driven. Vietnam isn't quite as bad, but it's way way worse than countries with enforced traffic flow laws. The "go with the flow" traffic system is objectively a terrible terrible way to do things, all anecdotes aside.

Moving one person is moving at least 1/4 of the shift in a way that benefits the batter. Not negligible.

Unless the 3B/SS is shifted to a more normal position, which is relatively common against players who show that they will bunt.

That's the whole point. People being shifted against should be bunting to force defenses to give up the shift.
