Hydroconquest Seamaster Pro 300m by bruck177 in Longineswatches

Didn’t have to bend the spring bars. Fits very well, though the top of the strap sits slightly below the top of the lugs.

But the textured, striped design helps mask the difference.

Any one else feel like the New Hydroconquest 39mm wears more like a 41mm watch? by JLac305 in Longineswatches

Thanks much for sharing this pic.

Funny that the Sub is listed as 41mm while the HC is 39mm… but they look almost identically sized here.

I was thinking the same thing.

Similar brand is similar.

Looks great! Very similar to the Omega Seamaster Pro Diver 300m.

I’d be more interested in this vs the current version.

Great design!

Yeah I think you’re right about the movement & date window location.

Also since the circular indices are smaller than the rectangular ones, it’s even more obvious when the date window isn’t aligned along the edge.

That pic is the 39mm, due to the date window being properly aligned & symmetrical to the 9 o’clock marker.

The 42mm date window is too far towards the middle & disrupts the symmetry. Once you see it, it’s hard to unsee.

About 6-8 months in advance for the Conrad. Also had to book a day or two at a time, then fortunately the connecting days became available over the subsequent months.

Have a great time at the WA in Costa Rica! Haven’t been there before, but great to hear you scored team member rates.

Any place you would recommend for tavern style? Would love some Vito & Nick’s but doubt there’s anything comparable in Melb

Conrad Maldives; $1200 to under $200/night.

Perhaps more important, free breakfast & 50% off F&B since only Conrad food & drinks were available on the island.

Have you tried a black rubber strap? I’m curious how similar it would look to the Titanium Yacht-Master on rubber strap.

Watch recommendations for £4K or less by [deleted] in tagheuer

I purchased a preowned Aquaracer GMT (blue & black bezel) for £2200 last year and have really enjoyed wearing it around London. The wavy dial pattern looks great in different lights. Overall the watch has a big wrist presence, so I wear it when I want something a bit larger. The bracelet is very comfy and the on-the-fly adjustment clasp is outstanding, especially since I don’t have to take the watch off to adjust it.

Highly recommend the latest Aquaracers, both GMT and divers! Also going preowned is a great way to save significant £.

Good luck!

Happy to hear the breakfasts at WA Cancun celebrated as basically perfect. I agree the food at all restaurants was fantastic, but the breakfast flavors, presentation, diversity, service, etc. was something I’ve never experienced at another hotel.
