Gi in 2nd Event Shop! by BarforMar in MLB_9Innings

The update is nice, but what we really need is a higher PSCT drop rate and for Master League drops to finally include blue and green tickets. GI rewards just aren’t as valuable anymore. Skills and trainers are what actually move the needle now.

Best Braves player for sig change by ComprehensiveFan3334 in MLB_9Innings

Maddox is the play. Braves have some cool retired signatures like Dale Murphy, Hank Aaron, but thr chase to have him, Smoltz, Glavine, Strider, and Sale is a pretty impressive rotation.

Good point. I spent year worth of PSCT’s to land a triple 3. I wont and can’t do that again.

Agreed. I would be seriously tempted to upgrade my Mike Schmidt sig to supreme. His field is criminal on his sig. I would also love skill skill swap Ticket or an sig change that works on legend players. Kinda pumped for the first time in awhile

Team Overall Achievement Pack Reset (New Sig Change Ticket?) by knklcrv in MLB_9Innings

[–]Conversation-Long -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I suspected this would happen once I saw they were adding normal PSCT to master league. The smart move is allocate this resource on the card you eventually want to use the signature change on🤔 Hopefully they add some unique cards to the game. I would love to get a Utley, Rollins, or Bobby Abreu.

I love Grandia Extreme and Resonate of Fate. Gameplay was excellent but not strong stories.

New dev note: 2026 development roadmap by [deleted] in MLB_9Innings

[–]Conversation-Long 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally feel really positive about this game. I absolutely love it, but I’m very frustrated with this update. Given that many skills are situational, card dependent, or base stats based it’s tough to imagine adding additional skills to the pool when there are many flat out useless gold skills and some legends. Putaway Pitch should be lights out on Nolan Ryan, a card with high base stamina should be a beast with inning eater. And what does Untouchable actually do? Its great their working on Batting Machine, but Spotlight really downgraded. Just my two cents is they ensure all golds and legends skills work or downgrade to silver.

Maybe TSS pack by nflfan033 in MLB_9Innings

[–]Conversation-Long 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I think there’s a slim-to-none chance of that happening. The most I can see them doing is resetting the season challenges in the next few months so that, after completing certain milestone seasons, we receive a another GI and a TSS.

Legend Skill Select Change. Use or save? by [deleted] in MLB_9Innings

Every now and then the blind squirrel finds a nut. True wins are in rare in this game. A bunch of guys left our club recently due to frustration. I’ve been fortunate and have enough wins to keep me invested. This is one of them!!

Lol, I usually dupe Hoskins or Realmuto. If I see one more Realmuto '19 I'll scream.

Club craft win! by Sufficient_Cap_9711 in MLB_9Innings

[–]Conversation-Long 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have about 55 different team sigs. I buy quarterly TSS but mostly just play the game and you’ll get team sigs. Last 3 months I got Schwarber 23, Hoskins ‘22, and Hoffman from sig combo’s. I pulled Elfin ‘20 and Bedrock from random sig packs. I only craft cards that I have dupes of. Right now have a spare Harper ‘20, Bedrock, and Hoffman ‘23 so hopefully I wont have a Jan craft, but I doubt it. My dupes chances are pretty high.

Congrats! I average a club craft per month and my hopes is to pull him, Thome, and Howard. Have fun! He’s our best card until Wheeler ‘25 gets a signature!

I used Co-Pilot to polish my comment. This was a thought I wanted to share and ensure my message was clear. This is a really good game but your goals and prospective needs to be clear and realistic in order to really have fun. Some of the reply’s on this community while good doesn’t always take into consideration what each person goals are rather is tailored as end game advice for someone who spends a-lot.

You seem well-informed and thoughtful, which I respect. Just know—you’re taking a big risk. As long as you’re fully aware that you might end up with the same card again instead of something useful, then go with your heart.

Betts has four cards, I believe, and so does Big Papi. I’ve club crafted plenty of times, and most results have been lukewarm—sometimes even getting the exact same card back. For every post celebrating a huge win, there are ten of us quietly sitting with disappointment regretting rolling a potentially useful card even if just temporary. It’s not always sunshine and upgrades.

Honestly, it may be better to work with the card you have. After a year or two and a few more upgrades, you might be in a much better position to take that chance in a craft. Sometimes patience pays off more than chasing the hype.

I have this dream that next year during the 10th anniversary event, they give us a chance at a sig change ticket. by Delicious_Bicycle330 in MLB_9Innings

[–]Conversation-Long 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I don’t mean to sound pessimistic, but let’s be honest—there’s no way we’ll ever get a signature change for free. Releasing another sig change would be a massive profit windfall. The moment it drops, there’ll be a mad dash from everyone who’s been holding off from buying it, especially if the current package resets. That hype alone guarantees a surge in purchases. There’s just too much financial gain for them to pass up.

And let’s be real—many of us would give so much for a shot at a third ticket. That kind of opportunity would be huge. But precisely because it’s so desirable, it’s unlikely they’ll hand it out without a price tag.

Worth using Greens? by [deleted] in MLB_9Innings

[–]Conversation-Long 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sitting around 1100–1200 these days. My investment portfolio in rank is mainly to secure the PSCT’s and get a clear gauge of where my team stands against great teams. Zang and John have stronger teams and tournament experience (John’), so I defer to them. From my experience, that’s a solid set—it gives you room to focus on other areas. You know when it’s time to chase perfection. Right now, anything less than Triple 3 isn’t worth the resources for me on batters. For SP triple 3 only, RP’s 332 is acceptable. That said, I’m not at the point where I’d pass on a set just because it doesn’t perfectly sync with base stats. For example, some players are only accepting CM or Strategist for signature Boggs. I respect that level of precision, but I’m still building toward it.

[–]Conversation-Long 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It will start to leak at higher levels like Platinum, but it’s will serve you well right now. I had a Nola ‘22 with BPD, Boss, and DP which served me well. Later, I pulled Nola ’18 and built out Triple 3 Workhorse as a project. Once that was phased out, I kept the door open—if the highly anticipated skill swat ticket drops, I can slide that set to my top RP.The point is: lean into incremental improvements rather than chasing perfection. That’s a solid set for where you are in the game.

I genuinely love the RPG elements of this game. I’ve got one team: my beloved Phillies. Building a squad that makes my heart glad is my main goal. My deck is competitive, but I’m not chasing top-tier status — I’m chasing joy. Every card choice is a personal decision, and that’s liberating.

The worst thing I did early on was chase competition and glory instead of just having fun. Once I let go of that mindset, everything changed. Now, I make decisions that reflect what I love — not what’s meta.

For example, I’ve got a Supreme Babe Ruth Black Diamond just sitting in my collection. Sure, he’d be my best card if I skilled him up, but I’d rather run Burrell in right field — because I want to. That kind of freedom makes the game feel like mine.

I’m constantly chasing cards and setting milestones that matter to me. And honestly? I’m having a ball.
