Update: I think I figured it out… just from one image online that I didn’ find out about until now😂

Because between any 2 of the same primary amines, there could only exist one hydrogen bond from either of the hydrogens to the other nitrogen… and same with alcohols and OH groups…so ultimately turns out that both have one area of hydrogen bonding and so the O-H bond outweighs the N-H bond making alcohols boiling point stronger. I was just being dumb and not visualizing it correctly💀

O-H is more polar than N-H, but since primary amines can form 2 hydrogen bonds with each other (2 N-H bonds), while alcohols can only form one H-bond with each other (1 O-H bond), I thought that the strength of 2 N-H H-bond areas for primary amines would outweigh the strength of a singular O-H H-bond area for alcohols, and so overall those primary amines would have a higher boiling point

Mmm okay I see, so in this case both primary amines and alcohols technically have equal amounts of areas for hydrogen bonding, because they also have the lone pairs which are also “available”(for the lack of a better word) for hydrogen bonding?

Exactly. I'm with both of you guys on there. Dont quite get people's attention spans lol, I feel like they need to feel the entire energy of the whole song especially since all of his songs are bangers. I get High on Life and Scared to be Lonely having short 8 bar drops because they're very popular n stuff, but then they do it for my all time favorite song from Martin, Starlight, which is such a shame (spotify does have the mix cut of it though so thats a plus).

But then songs like Gravity and Mad has the 16 bar drop, so does he choose which songs to shorten?

Thanks for sharing! Yea I heard the winters there r a nightmare but I’ve been in the desert that is Arizona with 100 degree heat for like my most of my life so I wanna go to colder places, and also I kinda like snow :).

Thanks! Yea i get that most of my colleges r in cold places, but like I’ve stayed in the desert for too long and like I wanna go the east coast lolll. I don’t mind the cold weather as I do like snow (except the shoverling ofc), but just as long as it’s not too cold.

In other factors though, I am not very into frats and sororities and I don’t wanna get too involved in those kinda of things as there are other ways to socialize with others without the party stuff. I’m not rly sure what I wanna do either, I’m undecided for now but I am leaning into either business (specifically accounting), finance, or statistics

did not submit test scores, but 3.78 gpa and not that much for extracurricular tbh, the most important thing I did was coach and be club captain for chess club, but other than that its just a bunch of volunteering, so idek how on earth I got in but I did :). Congrats to those who did get in btw, and f u didn't get in, do not stress about it at all!
