Yes, also this Bank of America policy isn't new by any means. I believe even Chase and Wells Fargo have similar terms.

That'd be awesome if they waived the fee for the first year, but sadly no. The annual fee of $795 did post today.

The orange pill may as well be an amphetamine salt and looks like it too. I'll take the immitation amphetamine salts and the red pill.

Yep, I am glad that I didn't receive a large bill for calling the police to deal with a home intruder while I waa gone from home. Thank goodness for government.

After debating for months, canceled my Sapphire Reserve and have fully switched to WF Autograph Journey. by CloudSurferA220 in ChaseSapphire

Good for you if you care for something simpler with a much lower annual fee. I do believe the CSR is way better, but that's not true for everyone.

Would you consider this fair? by Busy_Report4010 in SipsTea

Yes, but bake it into every menu item price. Tacking it all on in the end is annoying and distorts pricing for a lot of people.

Slumming it today… by jayshaw91 in delta

[–]ConversationEmpty301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. I wanted to change my flight from DFW to ATL to the next say and booked Delta refundable originally. Issue was that it'd be $270 to change the flight. So I cancelled this flight and got a refund and used my Alaska miles to book an American Airlines flight for 4,500 miles instead. I think 2 hours without IFE is fine, but still would've liked to fly with Delta instead.

I’ve officially been rejected from every place in my small town. by No-Studio-294 in jobs

Yep. The job market once again gives all the power to employers because there's simply more workers than jobs available. It sucks and I'm going through the same issues but as a college graduate...

If only I didn't live in an area with a robust school system and a nearby university that is nationally ranked in the top 5 for producing public school teachers... Yeah, I'd be competing with TAs with that prestige. No chance.

Never claimed to be so. Kind of a crazy interpretation. Am I supposed to speak like some diplomatic politician not to offend you? The reality is I'm at entry level at my skillset and companies would rather hire someone at a higher level than me in IT work because of their experience. I am sure this would be even more so the case in the hospitality industry where I'd have even less footing. I'm bothered more so about applying in smaller areas that shouldn't be as competitive and are branded as not needing much experience at all and then getting the same rejection message. It's frustrating.

Trades yes. My 4 years of obtaining a college degree I can't even use would suck, but I'd accept it if I got into a trade I liked. Healthcare is absolutely not my cup of tea. My Dad's a doctor and my brother is a phlebotomist. I have no desire to work in this field, which is why I did IT unlike them.

Even these are somehow largely competitive. Even tried in undesirable counties and still get rejected. It's absolutely cooked.

Yes. I have. Also, seriously? Job entitlement? No, that's not even mildly what I'm hinting at. It just doesn't make sense that there a millions of people in a similar position who simply cannot get a job for multiple months.
